국문 초록

본 연구는 환대 개념을 통해 차문화의 정서적 기능을 이론적으로 성찰해 보고, 이에 빗대어 각 나라의 차문화가 가지는 환대의 특성과 차이를 고찰하는 것이다. 차문화의 역할과 기능으로서의 환대는 보편적으로 인식되는 특성 중에 하나이지만, 이론적인 접근은 이루어지지 않았다. 칸트의 조건적 환대와 데리다의 무조건적 환대의 개념을 통해 차문화의 정체성을 모색하는 작업으로 모호하게 통용되던 차문화의 정서적 기능으로서의 환대를 고찰해 봄으로서 차문화의 방향성을 명료하게 하는 데 목적이 있다. 칸트의 조건적 환대에는 영국의 차문화와 일본의 차문화는 조건과 목적에 기반한 환대로 정의하였다. 또한 데리다의 무조건적 환대의 특징을 가진 차문화로는 생활문화로 깊이 자리잡은 중앙아시아의 차문화를 들었다. 이 지역의 특수한 환경은 절대적인 환대의 배경이 되었다.

영문 초록

This study theoretically reflects on the emotional function of tea culture through the concept of hospitality, and compares it to the characteristics and differences of hospitality in each country s tea culture. Hospitality as a role and function of tea culture is one of the commonly recognized characteristics, but a theoretical approach has not been made. The purpose of this study is to clarify the direction of tea culture by examining hospitality as an emotional function of tea culture, which was vaguely used as a work to seek the identity of tea culture through Kant s conditional hospitality and Derrida s unconditional hospitality. Kant s conditional hospitality defined British tea culture and Japanese tea culture as hospitality based on conditions and purposes. In addition, as a tea culture with the characteristics of unconditional hospitality of Derrida, he cited the tea culture of Central Asia, which has deeply established itself as a living culture. The special environment in this area served as the background of absolute hospitality.
