국문 초록

본 연구는 제조업에서 산업용 로봇의 사용과 고용 간의 관계를 성별 고용량을 중심으로 분석한다. 분석에는 작업환경실태조사와 광업·제조업조사를 이용하며, 분석 방법으로는 고정 효과 모형을 사용한다. 분석결과는 크게 세 가지로 요약된다. 첫 번째는 산업용 로봇의 사용은 고용과 음의 상관관계를 갖는다. 두 번째는 산업용 로봇의 사용은 남성 고용량과 여성 고용량에 다른 영향을 미친다. 제조업에서 로봇의 도입은 장기적으로 남성 고용량의 감소에만 영향을 미친다. 세 번째는 산업 중분류별로 로봇 사용이 성별 고용량에 미친영향력이 다르다. 남성의 경우 자동차 및 트레일러 제조업에서 고용 감소가 나타나는 반면, 여성의 경우전자 부품 제조업에서 고용 증가가 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 특성과 로봇과 사람의 공존을 위해서는 산업의특성과 상황, 근로자의 인적 특성을 고려한 정책적 지원이 필요함을 제언한다.

영문 초록

This study focuses on the relationship between the use of industrial robots and employment in the manufacturing industry. In particular, this study analyzes the employment by gender. The manufacturing industry is analyzed in this study. For the analysis, we used industrial robot data obtained from the Work Environment Assessment Survey and mining and manufacturing survey. The analysis model used a fixed-effect model. As a result, we find the use of industrial robots has a negative correlation with men s employment. Second, the use of industrial robots has a different effect on employment by gender. This result indicates robots only affect the reduction of men s employment in the long run. Third, the effect on employment by gender varies according to industry category. For men, employment in the automobile and trailer manufacturing industry decreases, while for women, employment in electronic parts manufacturing increases. Based on this, it is suggested that policy support is necessary for consideration of the characteristics of the industry and the conditions of workers for the coexistence of robots and humans.
