차기 가정과 교육과정 개정에 대비한 시의적 고찰

국문 초록

이 연구는 차기 가정과 교육과정 개정을 앞두고 가정과 교육과정의 개발을 이해하고 이를 돕기 위해 관련된 다양한 논의를 전개한 것이다. 진행된 논의는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다양한 주제와 관점에서 진행된 가정과 교육과정과 관련된 선행연구들이 차기 가정과 교육과정 개발에 어떠한 시사점을 주는가를 모색하였다. 둘째, 가정과 교육과정 개발과 관련된 쟁점으로서 초·중등 교과 명칭의 상이함에 따른 교육과정 개발과정의 문제, 실과(기술·가정) 교육과정에서 가정과의 교과 위상 확인에 대한 문제, 실과는 기술과와 가정과를 통합한 교과인가의 문제, 실과가 기술과와 가정과를 통합하기 위한 조건과 그 가능성 탐색의 문제, 가정과 교육과정의 현장 적용에서 나타나는 문제를 다루었다. 마지막으로 미래 사회에 대비한 가정과 교육과정의 개발 방향을 탐색하였다. 구체적으로 미래 사회 변화에 따른 교육적 요구와 가정과의 대응, 가정과의 교육적 역할과 책임, 미래사회에 대비한 차기 가정과 교육과정 개발 방향에 대한 논의를 전개하였다. 이 연구에서는 교육과정 개정 과정에서 등장하는 쟁점들에 대한 분석을 통해 차기 가정과 교육과정을 통해 가정과의 역할과 사명을 다할 수 있기를 기대하였다. 또한, 이 연구가 차기 교육과정 개발을 위한 구체적 자료가 되고, 가정과 내외의 모든 구성원들이 가정과교육을 이해하는 기초 자료의 역할을 하게 되기를 기대하였다.

영문 초록

This study developed various related discussions to understand and help the development of the home economics curriculum ahead of the next revision of the home economics curriculum. The discussion proceeded as follows. First, we explored what implications the previous studies related to the home economics curriculum conducted from various themes and perspectives have on the development of the home economics curriculum. Second, as the issues related to the revision of the home economics curriculum, the problem of the curriculum development process due to the difference in the names of the elementary and middle school subjects, the problem of the subject s status in the practical arts (technical, home economics) curriculum, the problem of accreditation that integrates the curriculum, the problem of exploring the conditions and possibilities for integrating the technical with the home economics, and the problems that appear in the field application of the home economics curriculum were dealt with. Finally, the direction of development of the home economics curriculum for the future society was explored. Specifically, discussions were conducted on educational needs and responses to future social changes, educational roles and responsibilities of home economics, and the direction for the next home economics curriculum development in preparation for the future society. In this study, it was expected that the role and mission of the home economics subject could be fulfilled by the next home economics curriculum through the analysis of the issues that emerged in the curriculum revision process. In addition, it was expected that this study would serve as a specific data for the development of the next curriculum and serve as a basic data for all members inside and outside of the home economics to understand home economics education.
