영문 초록

A Characteristic of Oirad Mongol Culture Ancestors of Oirad Mongolians, who are scattered to live in the Central Asian area, dwell in the Enisei river, the Selenge river, the northeastern part of Baikal Lake, and the livelihood zone of Southern Siberia. Thus, some of them have been engaged in small-scale fishery and livestock farming centering on hunting life. These were united into the Mongol Empire with reaching the 13th century and then were organized as new administrative district, resulting in having come to move south to the north of Khangai Mountains in the east of Altai Mountains. As they came to live by moving to the right side of the Altai in the 15th century after this, a big change was brought to their life. Livestock farming, especially, the ranching in alpine area became the main industry. Due to this, a big change was created even in food, clothing & shelter and lifestyle. On the other hand, Oirad culture of the present is assumed to have been likely formed owing to a contact and seed mixture with other races in the surrounding Göktürks affiliation. This discussion was introduced a part among cultural characteristics in Oirad Mongol. Especially, the characteristics, which are shown in food, costume, and specific rituals, were watched. However, for a reason that there is this cultural characteristic, the culture in Oirad Mongolians cannot be said to be different from the culture of other Mongolian tribes. The Oirad Mongolians are confirmed even to have maintained literally the ancient form of Mongolian culture as much as being a tribe centering on the Mongolian affiliation. A work is considered to be needed that will promote the understanding about the whole of nomadic culture in the Central Asian area henceforth while surveying Oirad Mongolian culture more in detail by tribe, comparing it with other tribes in Mongol and the racial culture of the neighboring Göktürks affiliation, and examining its characteristic.
