국문 초록

융합전공은 둘 이상의 전공이 융합하여 제공되는 새로운 전공으로, 융합전공 교육과정을 개발하기 위해서는 여러 전문가들이 교육과정 개발자로 참여하여 서로 의사소통하고 타협 및 조정하는 과정이 필요하다. Walker의 자연주의 교육과정 개발모형은 교육과정 개발자들이 숙의를 통해 타인의 입장에 반응하고 의견을 조정하는 과정을 강조한다. 이러한 모형은 전혀 다른 전공 분야와 배경지식을 가진 교육과정 개발자들이 참여하는 융합전공 교육과정 개발에 적합하다. 이에 이 연구는 자연주의 교육과정 개발모형이 대학 융합전공 교육과정 개발에 주는 시사점을 탐구하고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 융합전공이 가진 특수성을 고려하여 교육과정을 개발하고, 숙의 집단은 융합전공 관련 전문가 및 관계자들을 다양하게 구성해야 한다. 또한 융합전공 교육과정 개발의 출발점은 토대가 되어야 하며, 융합전공이 추구하는 가치를 바탕으로 여러 대안 중 가장 적합한 방안을 검토하는 숙의 과정이 필요하다. 설계 단계에서 의사결정을 진행할 경우에는 융합전공의 지향점과 바람직성을 염두에 두어야 한다.

영문 초록

Convergence major is a new major provided by converging two or more majors, and in order to develop a convergence major curriculum, various experts need to participate as curriculum developers to communicate, compromise and coordinate with each other. Walker s naturalist model for curriculum development model emphasizes the process by which curriculum developers respond to others positions and coordinate their opinions through deliberation. This model is suitable for the development of a convergence major curriculum involving curriculum developers with completely different majors and background knowledge. This study explores the implications of the naturalist curriculum development model for the development of university convergence major. As a result of the study, the curriculum should be developed in consideration of the specificity of the convergence major, and the deliberative group should consist of various experts and officials related to the convergence major. In addition, the starting point for the development of the convergence major curriculum should be the platform, and a deliberation process is needed to examine the most appropriate alternatives based on the value pursued by the convergence major. When making decisions at the design stage, the directional goal and desirability of convergence major should be considered.
