국문 초록

본고에서는 그 동안 한반도에서 출토된 대금식판갑의 편년연구를 정리하고 거기에서 드러난 문제점들을 해결하기 위해 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 일본의 연구성과를 참조하여 제작기법의 검토와 구조분석을 통해 속성을 추출하고, 장방판갑ㆍ삼각판갑ㆍ횡장판갑으로 구분하여 각각의 형식을 설정하였다. 이후 이들 형식의 변화양상 및 병류법을 중심으로 한제작기법을 기준으로 단계를 설정하였다. Ⅰ단계는 대금식판갑이 등장하는 단계로 한반도에서는 아직 여기에 해당되는 개체가 확인되지 않았다. Ⅱ단계부터 한반도에서 본격적으로 삼각판갑의 ⅡCb1형식이 확인된다. Ⅲ단계는 연결기법에서 병류법이 도입되어 혁철법과 함께 사용되지만, 아직 혁철법의 사용이 주류를 이룬다. 장방판갑의 ⅡB2형식과 삼각판갑의 ⅠBb1형식ㆍⅢDc1형식이 이 단계에 해당한다. Ⅳ단계부터 병류판갑의 개체가 늘어난다. 장방판갑의 ⅢB3ㆍⅢC1형식과 삼각판갑의 ⅡCb2ㆍⅢEc1형식이 해당하고 ⅠA1형식의 횡장판갑이 등장한다. Ⅴ단계는 복륜과 개폐장치 등의 제작기법이 더욱 다양해진다. 삼각판갑의 ⅡDb3ㆍⅣEd3형식과 횡장판갑 ⅡA1형식이 해당한다. Ⅵ단계는 ⅡB2형식의 횡장판병류판갑이 주류를 이룬다. 각 단계의 연대는 대금식판갑의 등장 및 병류법 채용 시기를 기준으로 설정하였다. 여기에 토기ㆍ마구ㆍ철촉 등 공반유물의 연대를 참조하여 각 단계의 연대검증 및 각 형식의 존속기간을 검토하였다. Ⅰ단계(5세기 전엽 후반), Ⅱ단계(5세기중엽 전반), Ⅲ단계(5세기 중엽 후반), Ⅳ단계(5세기 후엽 전반), Ⅴ단계(5세기 후엽 후반), Ⅵ단계(6세기 전반)로 연대를 부여하였다.

영문 초록

In this paper, chronological study is developed to solve the problems of the Daegeum type armor excavated in the Korean Peninsula. The attribution is checked through the production technique and the analysis of structure referring to the Japanese studies. It is classified into the rectangular plate armor, the square plate armor and the horizontal plate armor. Each armor is also classified to the various types. As change of each type and the rivet technique, the phase is set. In the first phase, the Daegum type armor is not found in the Korean Peninsula yet. From the second phase, the ⅡCb1 type of the square plate armor is checked in the Korean Peninsula. In the third phase, the rivet technique is introduced on an armor to connect each plate. In this phase, each plate is connected by a leather strapmainly. The ⅡB2 type of a rectangular plate armor and theⅠBb1 type the ⅢDc1 type of a square plate armor correspond to this phase. From the Ⅳ phase, an armor that each plate is connected by a rivet increases, and theⅠA1 type of a horizontal plate armor appears. The ⅢB3 ⅢC1 type of a rectangular plate armor and the ⅡCb2 ⅢEc1 type correspond to this phase. In the Ⅴ phase, various production technique is applied to an armor. The ⅡDb3 ⅣEd3 type of a square plate armor and the ⅡA1 type of a horizontal plate armor correspond to this phase. The ⅡB2 type of a horizontal plate armor is common in the Ⅵ phase. Each phase is set by appearance of the Daegeum type armor and rivet technique, and it is verified by artifacts - a pottery, a harness, an arrowhead ect - buried together. The Ⅰ phase corresponds to the first half of the early 5th century and the Ⅱ phase corresponds to the first half of the mid 5th century and the Ⅲ phase corresponds to the last half of the mid 5th century and the Ⅳ phase corresponds to the first half of the late 5th century and the Ⅴphase corresponds to the last half of the late 5th century and the Ⅵ phase corresponds to the first half of the 6th century.
