국문 초록

본 연구는 Krugman(1981)이 제시한 모델을 기초로 현실적으로 존재하는 기술수준을 고려하여 산업내 무역이론을 재해석 하였다. 기술수준을 나타내는 파라미터 γ가 한계비용에 반비례 영향을 보인다는 가정을 토대로 기술수준이 유사할수록 산업내 무역이 증가한다는 이론적 결정요인을 제시하였다. 기술격차를 감안한 결정요인의 실증분석은 Hummel(1995)의 모델을 이용하였으며, 제조업을 대상으로 1991년부터 2007년까지의 한국과 무역을 하는 OECD 국가와 동아시아 국가 간의 Panel분석을 하였다. 기술수준의 대리변수로 특허권 수를 이용하였고 수평적(제품차별화에 기인)수직적(기술차별화에 기인) 산업내 무역으로 분류, 분석하였다. OECD국가의 경우, 국가 간 기술격차가 유사할수록 산업내 무역이 활발하게나타나 본 연구에서 제시한 이론과 일치하게 분석되고 있으며, 동아시아 국가의 경우 선진국과 개도국과의 무역의 특징인 기업의 해외생산지 건설이 산업내 무역의 주를 이루고 있음이 확인되었다.

영문 초록

This study reinterpreted intra-industry trade theory based on Krugman’s model in 1981 with consideration of realistically present technology level. This study suggests the theoretical determinant factors of Intra-industry when technology levels are in comparable form that the intra-industry trade actual increase based on the theory that parameter γ which represent technology levels are in inverse proportion. Empirical analysis of the determinant factors with consideration of technology differentiation was used through Hummel’s model in 1995 and panel analysis of trade using data of manufactures in Korea whom has dealing with OECD countries and East Asian countries from 1991 to 2007. Proxy variable of technology level was used with number of patents and Horizontal & Vertical study was categorized and analyzed through intra-industry trade. In case of OECD countries, the large of volume of trade among similar countries. In this study’s theory had identically analysis. East Asian countries, it was corporation’s offshoring which is the characteristics of trade between developed countries and developing countries was main trade of intra-industry trade.
