영문 초록
A new cut-flower gerbera (Gerbera hybrida Hort.) “Raon” was bred from a cross between ‘Kippros’ of yellow color with the semi-double and ‘Rora’ of yellow color with the single at National Horticultural Research Institute. It was crossed in 1994 and selected in 2000 after the investigation of the characteristics for five years from 1995 to 1999. The major characteristics of “Raon” are as follows. “Raon” is cut-flower cultivar with large size flower, dark orange color, double type. The vase life was 11.0 days. It will be able to be planted in any greenhouse region in Korea.
