국문 초록

적정기술에 대한 관심의 증가로 개발도상국을 대상으로 하는 적정기술 활동 프로그램이 늘어나고 있다. 다양한 적정 기술 중에서도 인간의 기본권인 깨끗한 식수 음용과 관련하여 물 부족 국가 등을 대상으로 하는 정수시스템 구축 지원 활동이 활발하다. 그러나 관련 활동의 구체적인 절차에 대해서 체계적으로 문서화된 바가 없어 활동 참가 주체들이 참고할 만한 자료가 없는 실정이다. 이는 전반적인 활동을 계획하는 데에 어려움을 줄 뿐만 아니라, 데이터 수집 및 사후 관리 측면에서도 효율적이지 못해 활동의 지속가능성이 떨어질 우려가 있다. 이에 본 연구는 서울대학교 글로벌 사회공헌단의 다년간의 빗물 정수시설과 지하수 정수시설 설치 사례 분석을 바탕으로 정수시설의 효율적인 설치 가이드라인을 제시할 예정이다. 구체적으로는 전 과정을 현장 사전 답사 및 부지 선정 단계, 정수시스템 공사 설계 및 시공 단계, 그리고 사후 관리 단계로 나누어 각 단계를 더 효율적으로 실행할 수 있는 방안을 제안해보고자 한다. 이를 통해 향후 정수시스템을 설치하고자 하는 기관 및 단체의 활동에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

Increasing interest in appropriate technology has led to an increasing number of appropriate technology programs for developing countries. Among the various appropriate technologies, there is active support for water purification systems targeting water-scarce countries in relation to the clean drinking water, which is the basic human right. However, there is no systematic document of the specific procedures of related activities. This not only makes it difficult to plan the overall activity, but it is also ineffective in terms of data collection and post-management, which may reduce the sustainability of activities. Therefore, this study will propose an efficient installation guideline of water purification system based on analysis of rainwater and groundwater purification system installation by Seoul National University Institute for Global Social Responsibility. Specifically, the whole process should be divided into pre – field survey, site selection, water system construction design, construction, and post management phase. It is expected that this will help the organizations to install the water purification system effectively in the future.
