영문 초록

In order to reduce Air pollutants by vessel, IMO and international organization are urging shipping companies to install new equipment as Nitrogen oxides(NOx) reduction equipment on ships. Since the abatement rule of new air pollutant gas requires the installation of Selective catalytic reduction(SCR) equipment, it is important to secure the export competitiveness of the products of the countries and companies producing them. Especially, in the case of Korea, which has a world-class shipbuilding industry, securing the competitiveness of SCR as a shipbuilding will contribute to strengthening competitiveness of the shipbuilding industry. Using the trade statistics, we grasped the international competitiveness of SCR in Germany, USA, Japan, China and Korea. As a result of analysis based on Trade specialization index and Intra-industry trade index, Korea has confirmed that Intra-industry trade is strong even though SCR corresponding to individual items and parts are in competition.
