국문 초록

본 연구는 사회복지관, 장애인복지관, 그리고 노인복지관에 대한 대중이미지를 파악한 연구 이다. 서울사회복지사협회 대중이미지자료를 활용하여 각 유형별 사회복지기관이 일반대중에게 어떤 이미지로 인식되고 있는지, 각 복지관에 근접한 이미지는 무엇인지, 그리고 시설에 따라서 대중의 인식에 차이가 있는지를 탐색적으로 파악하였다. 연구를 위해 어의차이 척도로 각 유형의 복지관 이미지를 측정하였으며, 다항로지스틱 회귀분석을 통해 11개의 유의미한 이미지요소를 추출하여 다차원척도분석법(MDS)을 활용해 각 시설이 어떤 이미지로 대중에게 포지셔닝되고 있는지를 확인하였다. 연구결과 사회복지관은 ‘안심이 되는’, ‘평판이 좋은’, “깨끗한‘, ’유쾌한’이미지에 근접하고 있었으며 장애인복지관은 ‘실제로 도움이 되는’, ‘민감한’, ‘혁신적인’ 이미지에 그리고 노인복지관은 ‘편안한’, ‘친숙한’이미지에 근접하므로 사회 복지관, 장애인복지관, 노인복지관이 서로 다른 이미지로 포지셔닝되고 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이미지 문항과 복지관유형의 거리를 포지셔닝 맵을 통해 확인한 결과 세 기관 모두 ‘효율적’이고, ‘혁신적’이고 ‘실제로 클라이언트에게 도움이 되는’ 이미지와는 근접하지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the public images of three types of welfare centers: community welfare center, community rehabilitation center, and senior welfare center. Utilizing the public perception data owned by Seoul Social Workers Association, this study examines how each of three types of welfare center is perceived by the public, what image is close to it, and whether there are differences among the public perception of each welfare center. The study measured the images of welfare centers using the Semantic Differential Scale, and abstracted eleven significant image factors using the Multi-Logistic Regression Analysis, and identified the position of the public images of each welfare centers using the Multidimensional Scaling Method. The result of the study shows that three types of welfare centers have different public images. Specifically, the community welfare centers are perceived by the images of feel relief , good reputation , clean , and pleasant . And the community rehabilitation centers are perceived by the images of practically helpful , sensitive , and innovative . Finally, the senior welfare centers are perceived by the images of comfortable and familiar . In addition, the result of the analysis of positioning map suggests all of three welfare centers are not perceived to be efficient , innovative , and practically helpful .
