영문 초록

The main purpose of this study was to examine the effect of dating satisfaction on parental bonding as perceived by college students, on romantic attachment, and on love styles. A total of 235 unmarried college students were sampled and administered a structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, and multiple regression. The major results of this study were summarized as follows. First, differences in parental bonding were observed in relation to different romantic attachments. Also, differences in romantic attachments among different love styles were found. Second, gender, eros, and agape were the three variables that most explain dating satisfaction. Thus, male college students, those who have high scores on eros and agape love styles had high dating satisfaction scores. The suggestions, implications and recommendations for future research were also discussed.
