평생교육 프로그램에 대한 연구동향의 분류와 지식구조의 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 평생교육 프로그램에 대한 연구동향의 분석을 통해 분류체제의 형성과 객관적인 지식구조의 이해를 위해서 탐색-분류-유형화-분류체제의 원리를 적용하여 다음의 연구목표를 설정하였다. 첫째, 평생교육 프로그램의 학문적 위치와 비중을 확인하기 위해 연구의 동향을 탐색하였다. 둘째, 평생교육 프로그램에 대한 분류체제의 형성을 파악하기 위해서 연구주제를 거시적으로 분류하고 연구동향을 분석하였다. 셋째, 평생교육 프로그램의 객관적인 지식구조를 명세적으로 이해하기 위해서 연구영역 및 주제에 대한 동향을 탐색하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 평생교육학의 하위 학문영역으로서 평생교육 프로그램 분야의 관련 연구의 현황과 실태는 124편 논문과 5.08% 비율을 점하고 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 평생교육 프로그램의 연구주제는 프로그램전문가, 프로그램개발과정, 프로그램분류, 프로그램 내용 및 성격, 프로그램 원리 및 이론 등 5개 영역의 연구동향이 확인되었다. 셋째, 평생교육 프로그램의 상세한 분류체제의 8개 영역에 대한 연구주제에 대한 동향과 실태가 시기별로 파악되었다. 이상의 결과는 국내 평생교육 프로그램 분야의 학문적 위치와 비중을 확인할 수 있는 실증적 근거로서 가치가 있고, 평생교육학의 학문적 정체성과 성장을 위한 이론 및 분류체제, 지식구조를 형성하는데 기반이 될 수 있다는 점에서 가치를 가진다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify the academical knowledge structure on lifelong education programs through classification and taxonomy of research trends. By applying the principle of exploration-classification-typology-taxonomy and abductive reasoning approach, the objectives of this study were to analysis the academic locus and focus of lifelong education programs, classify knowledge taxonomy of lifelong education programs, and discuss on the knowledge structure of lifelong education programs. The research results were as follows. First, the current status of research on lifelong education programs, as a sub academic area of the lifelong learning, was revealed to have 124 dissertations at 5.08%. Second, for the research subjects of lifelong education programs, five areas of research trends such as program expert, development process, classification, contents and characteristics, and principle and theory were identified. Third, the trends and status of eight research subjects on detailed taxonomy of lifelong education programs were investigated by time. The results of the study had significance as empirical grounds that show academic status and the importance of lifelong education programs in Korea. Also, it has value in that the study can pave the foundation for creating theory and taxonomy for the academic identity and growth of the lifelong learning science.
