국문 초록

본 연구에서는 영아-교사 간 상호작용과 영아의 사회·정서적 행동 간에는 관계가 있는지, 그리고 영아-교사 간 상호작용 정도에 따라 차이가 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구문제는 첫째, 영아-교사 간 상호작용과 영아의 사회·정서적 행동 간의 관계는 어떠한지를 알아보고, 둘째, 영아-교사 간 상호작용 정도에 따라 영아의 사회·정서적 행동에는 차이가 있을 것인지에 대해 연구문제로 설정하여 이를 확인하였다. 그 결과 영아-교사 간 상호작용과 영아의 사회·정서적 행동 간의 관계는 사회·정서적 긍정행동과 정적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며 외현적 문제행동, 내면적 문제행동과는 부적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 영아-교사 간 상호작용 정도에 따른 영아의 사회·정서적 행동의 차이에서는 사회·정서적 긍정행동과 외현적 문제행동, 내면적 문제행동 모두 상호작용이 높은 그룹이 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 이와 같이 영아-교사 간 상호작용과 영아의 사회·정서적 행동 간에 밀접한 상관있음이 확인되었다. 따라서 어린이집 교육의 질에 영향을 미치는 영아-교사 간 상호작용의 중요성을 인식하고, 교육환경의 질적 향상을 위한 기초 자료로서 활용되기를 기대해본다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to confirm the relation between infant-teacher interaction and infants’ social, emotional behavior and also identify the difference in infants’ social, emotional behavior according to the level of infant-teacher interaction. The first research problem was what kind of correlation exists between infant-teacher interaction and infants’ social, emotional behavior and the second one was how infants’ social, emotional behavior varies according to the degree of infant-teacher interaction. The result was that the relation between infant-teacher interaction and infants’ social, emotional behavior has shown a positive correlation with positive social, emotional behavior while it has shown a negative correlation with external, internal problematic behavior. In addition, in the matter of difference in infants’ social, emotional behavior according to the level of infant-teacher interaction, meaningful distinction was shown in areas such as positive social, emotional behavior, external problematic behavior and internal problematic behavior only from the group who interact actively. As this research found out, there is close correlation between infant-teacher interaction and social, emotional behavior of infants. Therefore, the importance of infant-teacher interaction which affects the quality of education should be acknowledged and also I hope that this study can be used as data which promotes the better educational environment.
