국문 초록

보편교회는 개별교회의 요청을 받아들여 1992년 전 세계 모든 교회를 위한 ‘가톨릭교회 교리서’를 출판하였다. 교황청 성직자성은 ‘가톨릭교회 교리서’를 더 잘 알려주기 위하여, 그리고 1971년에 반포된 ‘교리교육 일반 지침서’를 현대에 맞게 개정하기 위하여 1997년 ‘교리교육 총지침’을 반포하였다. 이 지침에서는 각 지역 교회에 맞는 지침서의 발간을 독려하였다. 그래서 한국 천주교회에서는 보편교회의 뜻에 맞추어 2003년부터 한국 천주교회를 위한 지침서 발간을 준비하여 2005년 주교회의의 인준을 받아 출판하였다. 한국 천주교회를 위한 교리교육 지침서는 ‘교리교육 총지침’의 신학 노선을 그대로 받아들여 유사성을 지니는 한계를 지니고 있다. 하지만 교리교육을 위한 상황 분석과 이를 통한 교리교육의 방향을 설정함에 있어 한국 천주교회가 당면한 다양한 문제를 해결하기 위한 노력을 하였다. 특히 다원주의 안에서 신앙의 정체성을 이끌기 위한 해석학적 교리교육 그리고 지속적인 교리교육의 다양한 형태를 제시함으로 단순한 교리의 인식이 아닌, 교리를 신앙으로 고백하는 교리교육의 방법을 이 지침서는 제시하고 있다. 이 지침서는 한국 천주교회 역사 안에서 교리교육을 위한 첫 번째 지침서라는 의의를 지니고 있고, 신앙전수의 어려움을 토로하는 교리교육 현장에 하나의 방향을 주었다는 중요성을 가지고 지니고 있다. 하지만 그에 따른 한계점도 지니고 있다. 그러기에 앞날의 한국 천주교회를 위한 교리교육을 위한 더 많은 연구와 관심을 이 지침서가 촉발시키는 촉매제가 될 것이다.

영문 초록

In 1992, the universal Church published “Catechism of the Catholic Church” requested by each particular church in the whole world. In 1997, Vatican congregation for the Clergy proclaimed “Guide line for catechesis” to inform more actively “Catechism of the Catholic Church” and also to amend “General Guide book for catechesis” which was proclaimed in 1971 for current time. Congregation for the Clergy urged to publish guide lines suitable for each particular Church in the “guide line for catechesis. Korean Church conformed to the idea of the universal Church, then prepared for publishing guide book for Korean Church and published it with approval of Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Korea in 2005. ‘Guide book for catechesis of Korean Church’ adopted wholly “Guide line for catechesis” in theological line, so it has the limitation of similarity. But Korean Church analyzed the actual situation for catechesis. Through this analysis, when they established the catechesis direction, they made efforts to solve various problems which Korean Church faced. Specially, with presenting interpretational catechesis to lead faith identity in Pluralism and various continuous catecheses could be formed. This guide book present that catechesis is not just simple cognition of catechism, but shows the catechesis way to profess the catechesis as to faith. This guide book has the meaning of the first catechesis book in Korean Catholic Church history. It also has the important meaning to give a direction in actual catechesis field where expressed the difficulties in faith transmitting. But it also has limitations, too. So, this guide book will be a catalyst to touch off more studies and concerns for next catechesis for Korean Catholic Church in the future.
