영문 초록

In Iraq, there were definite signs of the arabic renaissance in modern times, despite circumstances which was only spasmodically favourable. One or two writers achieved the lasting fame. But this was largely local and certainly did not match with that of figures like Lebanese and Egyptian Feminist writers. Iraqi women writers took a part in writing short-stories and novels on feminine. Daysi al-Amīr is one of the best-known living feminine novelists and has published a promising collection of short stories.
