국문 초록

현재 한국의 선교학자들에 의하여 활발하게 논의되고 있는 선교적 교회론은 지역사회에서 지역교회들의 선교적 과제를 새롭게 인식하고 실천하는 내용을 담고 있다. 기존의 선교적 관점은 선교를 주로 해외지역에서의 활동으로 이해하여 왔으나 선교적 교회론은 세계선교의 차원을 소홀히 하지 않으면서 현재 교회가 속한 지역도 선교현장으로 인식하고 접근하는 길을 연구하고 있다. 현재 한국의 지역교회는 지역사회에서 저성장, 전도활동의 어려움, 사회로부터의 불신과 같은 지역사회에서의 선교활동에 심각한 어려움을 겪고 있다. 그러나 더욱 심각한 문제는 지역교회들이 그것을 해결할 수 있는 이론적 지원을 받지 못하고 있다. 그러므로 선교학자들이 이러한 지역교회에 가깝게 접근하여 현실적인 문제를 함께 해결할 수 있는 길을 찾도록 공동의 노력을 아끼지 않아야 한다. 그런 점에서 선교는 이제 지역선교와 해외선교를 이중적으로 구분하는 옛 패러다임을 넘어가야 한다. 지역사회 선교에서 시급히 요구되는 것은 사회적 신뢰이다. 현재 한국교회가 사회로부터 신뢰를 회복하며 인정받는 길은 전체 한국교회 차원이 아니라 지역교회 차원에서 지역사회로부터 신뢰를 얻는 것이다. 필자가 사례연구를 통해서 지역교회가 지역사회로부터 신뢰를 회복하고 인정을 받을 뿐만 아니라 지역사회 변화에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있는 가능성을 발견한 것은 큰 수확이었다. 본 글의 초점은 한국상황에서 현장에서 발견하는 실천적 모델을 통해 선교적 교회의 다양한 유형들을 찾아보고 지역교회의 목회자들과 소통하며 적용할 수 있는 실제적인 선교적 교회의 실천적 원리들을 제시하는데 있다. 실천원리는 필자가 오랫동안 국내의 교회들을 연구한 결과로부터 도출해낸 것이다. 물론 이 원리들이 절대적이 아니기 때문에 앞으로 보완이 필요할 것이다. 그러한 발전적 과정을 전망하면서 지역교회에 적용할 수 있는 선교적 교회의 실천원리들을 제시하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The missional church that is being discussed by the Korean theologian contains the contents which local churches challenge and practice as the missional tasks newly in local communities. Mission, from the established viewpoint, has been understood largely as activities which are performed in foreign missional regions. Now the missional church, without ignoring the dimensions of the World Mission, is dealing with the way to realize the region which today's churches belong to as the mission fields and to access it at the same time. Nowadays the Korean local churches are having severe difficulty in mission work because of their low growth, the hardship of evangelical activities in their community, and some distrust in local churches from this society. What is still more serious is that local churches do not have theoretical basis and support to deal with such problems. Therefore, the theologian should make joint efforts for the methods to solve such realistic problems they are undergoing by making an approach to these local churches. In this regard, Mission does not mean the old paradigm to distinguish between Local Mission and Foreign Mission any longer. It is society's trust in local churches that is urgently needed in the mission towards the local community. Currently, the only way for the Korean churches to recover society's trust and be acceptable is to get the communities' trust in the level of local churches, and not in the level of the Korean Church. As far as the writer is concerned, it is a large harvest to discover that there are the possibilities for the Korean churches not only to recover society's trust and be acceptable but also to have positive effects on changes in their community by my various case studies. The focus on this article is to present the missional church's realistic practical principles to apply through communicating with pastors in the local churches by finding out a variety of types of missional Church in practical model churches which are discovered in the Korean Church's situation. These practical principles are derived from the result of things which this writer has researched on the domestic churches for a long time. It is natural that these principles, not being absolute criterion, need to get complemented continuously. Prospecting such a developmental process, I present missional Church's practical principles to apply in the local churches in this article.
