국문 초록

본 연구에서는 성격특성이 IT교육의 만족과 성과에 어떻게 영향을 미치는 지를 규명하고자 하였다. 급격한 경영환경 변화 속에서 개인과 조직이 성공하기 위해서는 IT의 전파에 유연하게 적응할 수 있어야 한다. 따라서 각 개인의 성격과 업무에 적합한 IT의 습득은 지식사회 구성원으로서 기본적인 준비사항이 되는데, 이를 위해서는 적절한 IT 교육과 효과적인 훈련방법의 사용이 절실히 요구된다. 교육을 통하여 효율적인 기술을 체득한 종업원들은 자신감을 가지고 보다 효과적이고 생산성 있는 업무를 빠른 시간에 완수할 수 있는 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 사람들의 다양한 성격을 대분류한 성격 5요인이 IT교육 만족에 영향을 미치는지에 대해 알아보고 만족이 성과에 영향을 미치는지 구분하여 분석하고자 하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면 불안정성 요인을 제외한 모든 요인(외향성, 개방성, 수용성, 성실성)이 IT교육 만족 및 성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 성격특성이 IT교육 만족 및 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인은 분석은 효과적 IT교육을 위한 지침을 제공해 줄 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study is to identify the influences of the personality traits to the IT education"s satisfaction & performance. Adaptation to the rapid trend of Information Technology (IT) should be necessary to survive in the 21st keen competitive business environment. For this, it is necessary to acquire proper ICT knowledge for business as a member of Knowledge society. Effective computer education programs, therefore, should be provided. An employee having essential skills through education would perform his/her duties confidently and effectively. The purpose of this paper is to examine factors enhancing the performance of computer education designed for cultivating competing person for successful IT implementation. It aims to analyze the affecting factors of computer education performance in terms of learner"s aspect such as computer self-efficacy and environmental aspect such as educational facilities and professor"s traits. The result shows that all factors(extraversion, openness, agreeableness, conscientiousness) except neuroticism are found to be significantly related to the performance of computer education. It is expected to provide guidelines on effective computer education and help to nurture talented person for IT in turn by investigating the affecting factors of the performance of computer education. Also future research areas are proposed.
