정신지체학생의 화행규칙수행에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 정신지체 학생의 화행규칙수행 정도를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 Lucas(1980)가 개발한 화행수행 점검목록을 사용하여 학생들이 각 화행을 어느 정도 수행하고 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 그리고 그 구성규칙의 수행이 정신지체 학생의 정신지체 정도, 평균발화길이(MLU)에 따라 달라지는지 알아보고자 하였다. 그 결과 정신지체학생은 8가지 화행을 수행하는데 있어서 절반정도가 구성규칙을 수행하지 못하는 것으로 나타나 상대방과 원활한 의사소통을 하게 하려면 하위 구성 규칙 준수에 대한 교육이 필요함을 시사하였다. 전체적으로 정신지체 학생들은 소극적인 의사소통 형태를 나타내고 있었으며, 진지하고 논리적으로 조리있게 대화하는데 어려움이 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 정신지체 학생들은 정신지체정도와 평균발화길이의 정도에 따라 대부분의 화행 구성규칙 수행에 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpos e of the pr es ent s tudy was to inves tigate the degr ees of obs ervance of the per formance rules of speech acts on the bas is of the 8 speech - acts that Sear le showed and to inves tigate the differ ences in the per formance rules of speech acts and mean length of utter ance to find out the pr oblem ar eas of communication in childr en with mental r etar dation . For ty childr en with mental r etar dation wer e tes ted in light of the degr ees of the per formance of speech acts compos ed of 37 inventor ies , s ocial matur ity s cales , and MLU. They wer e divided into two groups , the high - level gr oup and the low- level gr oup . The r es ults of the s tudy could be s ummar ized as follows : (1) Among the cons titutive rules of speech acts , ins is tence and information demand showed the highes t r ates of obs ervance and rule or der , the lowes trate , (2) Among the 8 speech acts s tudied the two gr oups showed differ ences in s even of the speech acts , ins is tence being an excepption , (3) A meaningful differ ence is found in MLU between the two gr oups . The obs ervance of the cons titutive rules incr eas ed in par allel with the incr eas e in MLU, (4) Accor ding to the total r es ults of corr elation among the obs ervances of cons titutive rules of speech acts , Social Quotient (SQ) and MLU ar e found to be meaningfully corr elated. But MLU has a high corr elation as .67(p <.0 1) and SQ has a r elatively low corr elation as .32(p <.05). The highes t corr elation by the degr ees of mental r etar dation is shown in a cons titutive rule of object demand, and the highes t corr elation by aver age sentence length is shown in a cons titutive rule of "rule order."
