국문 초록

본 연구는 한국 가계부문의 자본스톡 시계열을 추계하였다. 실측치가 존재하는 1997년까지는 기존의 국부통계조사자료를 이용하여 다항식 기준연도접속법으로 자본스톡을 추계하고, 실측치가 없는 1998년부터는 기준연도접속법을 사용하였다. 가계부문의 자본스톡은 주택과 가재자산(내구용 및 비내구용 소비재)으로 구성되어 있다. 먼저 주택부문의 자본스톡은 산업부문에서 추계되는 주거용 건물추정치에서 가계자산의 비율을 이용하는 방법을 이용하였다. 내구재 및 준내구재의 자본스톡은 한국은행의 국민계정 소비재 및 준내구재 소비재자료를 투자자료로 사용하였다. 폐기율은 순자산을 먼저 추계하고 환가율을 이용하여 총자본스톡을 추정하였다. 감가상각률은 1987년과 1997년의 국부통계조사를 이용하여 계산된 감가상각률을 사용하였다. 추계결과에 의하면 1999년의 1995년 기준 불변가격 가계순자본스톡은 488조 5,039억 원으로 나타났으며, 이 중에서 주택은 273조 2,452억 원, 가재자산은 215조 2,587억 원으로 추정되었다.

영문 초록

This paper estimates the capital stock in household sector from 1968 to 1999. We use the polynomial benchmark year method from 1968 to 1997, and the benchmark year method from 1998 to 1999. Household capital stock includes the residential housing, and consumer durable and semi-durable goods. Capital stock of residential housing of household sector is estimated by using the ratio of residential housing of household sector over that of all industries. Consumer durables are estimated by using the BOK's expenditure series on them. We first estimate the net capital stock, and convert them into gross capital stock by using translation ratio. Depreciation rate are calculated by using 1987 and 1997 National Wealth Survey. The household net capital stock in 1999 was estimated 488,503 billion Won (in 1995 constant price), while those of residential housing and consumer durables were estimated 273,245 billion and 215,258 billion Won respectively.
