영문 초록

Public policy designed to improve well-being is often ineffective because it is based on inadequate knowledge of the nature and meaning of time use. The results of time use study can be used as a basic data in policy making and practical area if the development and expansion of study field is accomplished through the methodological consensus. This study identifies the importance and availability of the time study. And spot observation. experience sampling method. and episode analysis as a new measurement methods to complement the disadvantage of time diary are introduced. Finally. the limitation and solutions in time measurement and results integration enlightens the direction for the future research.
