국문 초록

지역에서 시민 스스로 필요한 활동을 스스로 만들어가는 마을공동체 활동은 다양한 영역을 포괄하고 있다. 분야에 따라 복지, 돌봄, 도시농업, 자치, 환경 등으로 영역을 구분할 수 있으나, 여성, 청년 같은 계층에 따른 활동도 존재한다. 이런 마을공동체 활동 중 특별한 위치를 차지하고 있는 것이 문화, 예술, 미디어 영역이다. 시민 의식의 성장과 자아발전을 위해서는 생활과 밀접한 문화적 요소를 공동체 안에서 함께 학습, 체험, 공유, 논의하는 장을 조성해야 한다. 이에 본 연구는 시민문화활동 활성화를 위한 문화공동체 조성과 지속성 제고를 위해 사례조사와 분석하여 사례들을 유형화하여 유형별 특징을 정리하고 이에 대한 구체적인 전략을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 결론적으로 현재까지의 문화공동체는 네트워크 중심, 주체 중심, 지역자산 중심으로 유형화할 수 있고 문화공동체의 활성화와 지속을 위해서는 약한 연결을 통한 네트워크의 활성화, 다중멤버십을 통한 주체 확장과 연대 강화, 지역의 문화예술 자산의 다양한 활용과 참여 확대라는 방안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Community activities in which citizens themselves create necessary activities in the region cover various areas. Depending on the field, the areas can be divided into welfare, care, urban agriculture, autonomy, and environment, but there are also activities by social classes such as women and youth. Among these community activities, the areas of culture, art, and media occupy a special position. In order to grow civic consciousness and develop oneself, a place must be created in the community to learn, experience, share, and discuss cultural elements closely related to life. Accordingly, this study aims to investigate and analyze cases to create cultural communities for activating civic cultural activities and enhancing their sustainability, categorize cases, organize the characteristics of each type, and suggest specific strategies for them. In conclusion, cultural communities to date can be categorized into network-centered, subject-centered, and regional asset-centered, and to revitalize and sustain cultural communities, the following measures were suggested: network activation through weak ties, subject expansion and solidarity strengthening through multi-membership, and diverse utilization and participation expansion of regional cultural and artistic assets.
