텍스트마이닝을 활용한 생성형 AI 윤리 관련 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

인공지능의 발전 역사에서 생성형 AI의 개발은 매우 중요한 사건으로 꼽을 수 있다. 최근 생성형 AI의 활용 분야가 확대되면서 AI 윤리에 관한 연구도 급격히 증가하고 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 딥러닝 기술 발전에 힘입어 인공지능이 급부상하고 AI 윤리 연구가 증가하기 시작한 2014년부터 2025년 최근까지 발표된 AI 윤리 관련 연구 동향을 분석하는 것이다. 분석 대상은 2014년 1월부터 2025년 9월까지 KCI에 게재된 논문 406편을 대상으로 하였다. 특히, 406편 중에서 생성형 AI가 발표된 2022년 11월 이전 게재논문 156편과 이후 게재논문 250편을 대상으로 키워드 빈도 분석 및 연결 중심성 분석, 토픽 모델링을 각각 실시하여 AI 윤리 연구 동향의 변화를 비교 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 생성형 AI 이전 연구에서는 5개의 주요 토픽이 도출되었으며, 인간-기술 관계와 도덕적 행위성, AI 교육 활용 및 도덕·윤리 역량 증진, 기술·로봇·알고리즘의 위험성과 규범 쟁점, 데이터 규제·AI 거버넌스·정책 대응 등에 관한 연구가 수행된 것으로 파악되었다. 반면, 생성형 AI 이후 연구에서는 7개의 토픽이 도출되었으며, 생성형 AI 교육 활용과 학습 윤리, AI 창작·저작권·책임 논쟁, 대학 글쓰기·연구 윤리와 생성형 AI 등 주로 생성형 AI의 활용과 관련하여 학습 및 연구 윤리, 창작에 대한 저작권 책임 등의 영역을 포함하는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The development of generative AI is a pivotal event in the history of artificial intelligence. With the recent expansion of generative AI applications, research on AI ethics has also been rapidly increasing. The purpose of this study was to analyze trends in AI ethics research published from 2014, when AI emerged rapidly and AI ethics research began to increase, driven by advances in deep learning technology, to the present day, 2025. The analysis included 406 papers published in KCI between January 2014 and September 2025. Specifically, among these 406 papers, 156 papers published before November 2022, when generative AI was introduced, and 250 papers published afterward, using keyword frequency analysis, degree centrality analysis, and topic modeling to compare and evaluates the shifting thematic landscape of AI ethics research over time. The research results showed that five major topics emerged from research prior to generative AI, including human-technology relationships and moral agency, the use of AI in education and the promotion of moral and ethical competencies, the risks and normative issues of technology, robots, and algorithms, and data regulation, AI governance, and policy responses. In contrast, seven topics emerged from research after generative AI, including areas such as generative AI education use and learning ethics, AI creative production and its ethical implications, copyright, and responsibility debates, and university writing and research ethics and the integration of gnerative AI. These topics were found to mainly relate to the use of generative AI, including learning and research ethics and copyright responsibility for AI-assisted and AI-generated work.
