국문 초록

본 연구는 이스라엘–하마스 전쟁과 이후 이란–이스라엘 간 군사 충돌에서 이란이 취한 입장과 대응 방식을 분석하고, 이를 이란의 장기적 안보전략 및 대외정책 기조와의 연계 속에서 해석하였다. 이란 최고지도자실, 대통령실, 유엔주재 이란대표부의 공식 성명을 토대로, 본 연구는 이란이 해당 갈등을 ‘저항의 축’ 구도의 연장선으로 규정하고, 국제법적 정당성을 강조하며, 이스라엘–미국 공조를 역내 불안정의 근원으로 비판하는 담론 전략을 구사했음을 밝혀냈다. 연구 결과, 이란은 직접적 군사 개입보다는 담론전, 종교·도덕적 이분법, 역내 연대 강화 등을 통해 간접적으로 영향력을 확대하는 방식을 선호함을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

This study investigates Iran’s stance during the Israel–Hamas war and subsequent military confrontations with Israel, analyzing how these actions align with Iran’s long-standing security strategy and foreign policy principles. Using official statements from the Supreme Leader’s Office, the Presidential Office, and Iran’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations, the research identifies a consistent emphasis on framing the conflict as part of the “Axis of Resistance”, legitimizing Iran’s position under international law, and portraying Israel–U.S. cooperation as the root cause of regional instability. The findings reveal Iran’s preference for discourse warfare, religious–moral framing, and regional solidarity over direct military engagement, reflecting a broader strategy of indirect intervention to maximize influence.
