국문 초록

본 연구는 정서적 학대 경험과 비자살적 자해(NSSI) 간의 관계에서 감정표현불능(alexithymia)과 경험회피(experiential avoidance)의 매개 역할을 검증하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 정서적 학대, 감정표현불능, 경험회피, 비자살적 자해 간에는 모두 정적 상관이 나타났다. 감정표현불능과 경험회피는 각각 정서적 학대와 비자살적 자해 간의 관계를 부분매개하는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 감정표현불능과 경험회피의 순차적 매개효과도 유의하게 나타났다. 마지막으로 상담 실천 현장에서의 시사점, 연구의 한계, 후속 연구 방향을논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study examined the mediating roles of Alexithymia and Experiential Avoidance in the relationship between Emotional Abuse experiences and Non-Suicidal Self-Injury (NSSI). Results showed that Emotional Abuse, Alexithymia, Experiential Avoidance, and Non-Suicidal Self-Injury were positively correlated. Alexithymia and Experiential Avoidance each partially mediated the relationship between Emotional Abuse and Non-Suicidal Self-Injury. In addition, a sequential mediating effect of Alexithymia and Experiential Avoidance was confirmed. Implications for counseling practice, limitations of the study, and directions for future research are discussed.
