Southwest Yunnan Province is home to a variety of ethnic minority groups, including the Dai, Yi, Wa, and Hani. This renders it one of the China’s most culturally rich regions in terms of ethnic cultural resources. The area boasts diverse intangible cultural heritage (ICH) forms, such as the Dai people’s palm-leaf scriptures (Pattra), the Wa people’s epic Si Mgang Lih, the Hani people’s narrative long poems, and the Lahu people’s epics. These embody profound ethnic sentiments and unique cultural memories, holding significant value in linguistics, art, folklore, and related fields. In recent years, however, many oral-based ICH traditions have confronted an inheritance crisis. Key contributing factors include the endangerment of ethnic languages, the aging of ICH inheritors, and limited outreach channels. Concurrently, the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has opened up new opportunities for the protection and inheritance of ICH in Southwest Yunnan. This study focuses on the applicability of AI technology to the inheritance of ICH in this region. Taking Southwest Yunnan’s ICH as the research object, it first summarizes and analyzes the linguistic characteristics and current inheritance status of these ICH items. Subsequently, it proposes the construction of an ICH corpus tailored to the region’s multilingual context with the support of AI technologies. Furthermore, this research suggests the development of intelligent translation systems, speech recognition and synthesis systems, and virtual language teaching platforms based on natural language processing (NLP), speech recognition and synthesis, deep learning and other technologies.

영문 초록

滇西南地区聚居着傣族、彝族、佤族、哈尼族等多种少数民族，是我国少数民族文化资源最为丰富的区域之一，其丰富多样的非物质文化遗产（如傣族贝叶经、佤族神话《司岗里》、哈尼族叙事长诗、拉祜族史诗等）承载着深厚的民族情感与独特的文化记忆，在语言、艺术、民俗等方面具有独特的价值。然而，近年来，受语言濒危、传承断层、传播受限等因素影响，许多依赖口传心授的非遗文化正面临传承危机。同时，人工智能（AI）技术的迅速发展为滇西南非遗文化的保护和传承带来了新机遇。本研究聚焦AI 技术在滇西南地区非遗文化传承中的可应用性，以滇西南非遗文化为研究对象，通过梳理和分析滇西南非遗文化的语言特征与传承现状，提出利用AI 技术构建适配滇西南多民族语言特点的非遗文化语料库，并开发基于自然语言处理（NLP）、语音识别与合成、深度学习等技术的智能翻译系统、语音识别与合成系统和虚拟语言教学系统，旨在实现滇西南非遗的系统性记录、活态传承与广泛传播，为AI 赋能非遗文化的传承与发展提供新的思路和方法。
