국문 초록

[Background]There are a wide variety of traditional Chinese Musical Instruments, which can be classified into wind instruments, stringed instruments, plucked instruments and percussion instruments according to different playing methods. In various folk activities held by the people nowadays, the use of Musical Instruments shows a unique distribution characteristic based on different occasions. [Objective]The article takes the blessing ritual of Zhengyi Taoism in Cangnan County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province as a case study, aiming to explore the use of timbre of the principal musical instruments in different ritual procedures and their functional significance. [Method]By integrating field investigations, descriptions of ritual music, in-depth interviews with musicians, and audio spectrum analysis, the patterns of instrument usage during rituals are recorded and analyzed. [Results]It is further discovered that the Musical Instruments used in the rituals of the Zhengyi School of Taoism have been deeply embedded in the ritual structure and cultural context. Their functionality is reflected in the specific timbres of the instruments and the symbolic ritual process, which enhance the emotions of the field and strengthen the cultural identity of the insiders. [Conclusion] Revealing the systematic and symbolic connotations of the timbres of the instruments in the ritual system.

영문 초록

【背景】中国的民族乐器种类繁多，按照不同的演奏方式可分为：吹管乐、拉弦乐、弹拨乐、打击乐。每类乐器又因不同的发声材料及其产生的高低各异的频率，故而具有不同的音色。在当下民间各类民俗活动中，乐器的使用呈现出独具场合性分布的特点。 【目的】以浙江省温州市苍南县正一派道教“祈福”仪式为个案，旨在探讨仪式中主奏乐器音色在不同仪式流程中的使用及其所呈现出的功能性意义。 【方法】结合田野调查、仪式用乐描述、乐人深度访谈与音频频谱分析等方法，对仪式中乐器使用的规律进行记录与分析。 【结果】正一派道教仪式中所用乐器已深度嵌入仪式结构与文化语境之中，其功能性体现出通过特定的乐器音色与象征仪式流程、渲染场域情绪并强化局内人的文化认同。 【结论】揭示乐器音色在仪式制度中的系统性与象征性的内涵。
