국문 초록

With the rapid development of the CCRC model in China, furniture—as a key medium of interaction between elderly residents and their environment—has increasingly become a focal point in design and research due to its supportive role in behavior facilitation, safety assurance, and emotional comfort. This study explores the essential design elements of furniture in CCRC living spaces for semi-independent older adults, aiming to establish a care-oriented framework encompassing four key dimensions: supportability, operability, safety, and rhythmic adaptability. Using the Taikang Home·Jinyuan community as a case study, field investigations and element coding were conducted to analyze the performance characteristics of frequently used furniture. The findings indicate that rhythmic adaptability and operational convenience are the most critical dimensions requiring enhancement, especially in relation to behavioral response, interaction flow, and information cues. Based on these insights, the study proposes four optimization strategies for care-oriented furniture design, emphasizing a shift from static functional configuration to a dynamic mechanism that supports behavioral continuity, psychological rhythm, and user autonomy.
