국문 초록

이 논문은 류성룡의 시(詩)에 대한 분석과 해석이다. 류성룡의 시 세계는 크게 두 가지 주제로 나누어서 분석한다. 하나는 심원폐정(心源廢井)이고 다른하나는 천도(天道)이다. 심원폐정은 시는 하루라도 쓰지 않으면 마음이 말라서 못쓰게 된 우물과 같이 된다는 것이다. 柳成龍의 방대한 수의 시작을 보면 매일같이 시를 쓴 것 같다. 그러나 그 시는 작위적인 노력보다는 우연히 감흥이 솟아서 우연히 느낌이일어서 쓴 우음우영이 많다. 여기서는 그 우음우영을 4가지로 나눠 풀이하고감상했다. 시는 사설이 없기에 잡음도 없고 잡것도 없다. 사람의 본연은 순수무구다. 사람의 본색은 단순하고 명료하다. 그 사람의 본연 본색을 가장 잘 드러내는 것이 시다. 천도(天道) 또한 류성룡 시의 주요 주제로 자리하고 있다. 柳成龍에게 천도는 자연이다. 자연은 매일 아침 해가 뜨듯이 규칙적이고 사계절이 바뀌어가듯이 약속을 엄수한다. 이런 천도와 함께 자연이 보여주는 큰 도가 있다. 그 큰도는 입과 귀로 전해지지 않는, 오직 깨달음으로서만 경지에 들 수 있는 대도난종의 시를 柳成龍은 많이 썼다. 여기서 그 몇 편을 뽑아 해설했다.

영문 초록

The poetry is natural innate and the way that one should be. It is a long distance from the long story of a novel. So it is simple, plain and distinct. The poetry is everyday’s work. No writing a day - it becomes like the state that the spring has run dry. Ryu Seong-ryong’s vast amount of poetry points a live spring which wells up continuously. Particularly he has had a number of poetry in incidental feeling(우음偶吟). It is not a work under deliberation. In Ryu’s works, providence or the way of the Heaven is nature. In nature, there is no falsehood. At the same time, nature keeps always an appointment. Four seasons always change without fail. In the everyday’s morning the sun rises certainly. It is the great Do(道). However, the great Do is not expressed through the mouth and the ears. It apprehends right away. The truth is through self-consciousness and the self-satisfied. This kind of poetry was written in Ryu’s work. For example, the moonlight scattered, one thousand peak of mountain becomes white. Surprised leaves with a heavy frost fall down in the universe.
