국문 초록

이 글은 서애(西厓)의 시(詩)를 통해 西厓의 7개 리더십을 구명하는 것이다. 지금까지 西厓 연구는 사회과학적 분석을 통한 西厓 리더십 연구였다. 西厓의언사, 西厓의 행태와 정책 그리고 전쟁에 대한 그의 수많은 기록들과 실록을위시한 다른 사람들의 기록이 西厓 연구의 기본 자료들이었다. 연려실기술 등후대에 쓰여진 자료들도 물론 기본 자료로써 연구에 크게 이바지해온 것 또한사실이다. 이 자료들의 기본 특징은 모두 밖으로 드러난 사건 사실 등 현실세계의 자료들이고 그리고 그 현실세계를 가능한 한 왜곡됨이 없이 있었던 그대로 관찰해서 기록한 자료들이라는 것이다. 지금까지 사회과학적 연구에 동원된 자료는이같이 모두 ‘밖으로 드러난’ 사실 사건들에 근거한 자료들이라는 점, 거기에이 글은 주목한다. 그런데 그 자료들이 보여주는 현실세계는 어떤 세계인가. 그세계는 눈으로 그리고 피부로 감지하는 세계이다. 이 세계는 바로 ‘표층의 세계’이다. 지금까지 西厓 연구는 이 ‘표층의 세계’를 연구한 것이다. 이 글의 목적은 西厓의 ‘심층의 세계’를 보려는 데 있다. 사건 사실들을 서술한 ‘의식의 세계’가 아닌 ‘의식의 저류’를 찾는 것이다. 그 ‘심층의 세계’, ‘의식의 저류’는 지금까지 눈으로 피부로 확인되고 감지된 서사적 기록이 아니라, 마음 한가운데서 솟아 나온 영혼의 소리다. 이 글에서는 그것을 시(詩)라 명명하고, 이 시를 통해서 西厓 ‘본연의 세계’를 찾으려 하는 것이다. 이 글은 그‘본연의 세계’를 설명하는 도구로 西厓의 7개 리더십이 어떤 것인가를 먼저 설명한다. 그리고 그 리더십이 다른 리더들의 리더십과 근본적으로 차별화될 수밖에 없는 이유를 그의 시심(詩心)에서 찾아 설명한다.

영문 초록

The primary purpose of this article is to find Freedom and Return of the Seo-ae world. In this paper Seo-ae’s freedom is to escape from the human bondage in the secular affairs and managements. Return to where? It is basically to nature or the bosom of nature, realistically to activities in the inactivity and vice versa. The key words in this paper are the outer and the outer flow which is the expression of one’s feelings, and the depths which fathom out one’s consciousness. The poem is present as the undercurrent. Although this paper does not liftout, the numer of the Seo-ae’s poem amounts to 888. All of these poems could be said of undercurrent’s works. The seven patterns of his leadership are the outer flows which are present as the undercurrent of consciousness. They are 1) leadership of insight, 2) penetration to man’s ability and skill, 3) methodology of achievements, 4) preparation; everything’s arrangements, 5) tenderness and mildness, 6) servant leader-leadership; its non ideological power, 7) retreat after success as the leader. All these leaderships are the expression of the undercurrent.
