현직 보육교사의 디지털 놀이지원에 대한 인식 연구 - 디지털 매체활용을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아 디지털 놀이지원에 대한 어려움, 우려, 요구를 반영해 현직 교사교육의 개선을 목적으로 이루어졌다. 이를 위해 J 지역 보육교직원 보수교육에 참여한 보육교사를 대상으로 디지털 매체 활용 정도를 알아보고, 디지털 놀이 지원 시 시급히 해결해야 할 점을 알아보았다. 연구 결과, 보육교사의 디지털 매체활용은 보통 수준 이상으로 나타났으며, 경력에 따라 디지털 매체활용 정도는 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 또한, 보육교사는 해야하지만 할 수 없는 이중적 태도로 제한적인 실행하였다. 영유아의 사회성 저해를 우려하였고, 환경 개선을 가장 시급한 과제로 인식하였다. 본 연구는 보육 현장의 교사 인식을 바탕으로 교육 운영을 위한 기초연구가 이루어졌다는 점에서 의의를 찾아볼 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze childcare teachers’ Perceptions and needs regarding the use of digital media and artificial intelligence (AI), and to explore their implications for practice and policy in early childhood education. Surveys and interview were conducted with childcare teachers to examine differences in digital media utilization,concerns, and support needs according to teaching experinence. The findings indicate that teachers acknowledged the necessity of digital and AI education, yet expressed strong concerns about potential negative effects, such as hindering children’s social development (35.0%), distorting self-concept (20.1%), and issues related to privacy protection (20.1%). At the same time, teachers emphasized the need for greater understanding of developmental appropriateness (28.0%), support for home-school connections (26.3%), and digital ethics education (15.7%). Notably, novice teachers were more familiar with digital tools but lacked knowledge of developmental appropriateness, whereas experienced teachers, despite their rich pedagogical expertise , showed lower confidence in technology use and greater reluctance due to burnout. At the institutional level, the lack of technological infrastructure (35.9%) and insufficient educational philosophy of directors (25.4%) were identified as key barriers. These results highlight that childcare teachers’ digital and AI practices are not merely a matter of technical competence but require integrated support encompassing developmental appropriateness, ethics, institutional leadership, and family-policy alignment. This study provides practical insights for shaping the direction of early childhood education in the digital transformation era.
