경기도 특수교육지원센터 팀장의 역할에 대한 인식 탐색: 현장 중심 심층 면담을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 특수교육지원센터 팀장이 수행하는 역할에 대한 인식을 탐색하여 향후 특수교육지원센터 팀장에게 필요한 역할의 제도적 정립과 정책적 지원을 위한 기초자료를 마련하는데 목적이 있다. 연구를 위해 경기도 특수교육지원센터에서 팀장을 담당했거나 팀장과 함께 근무한 경험이 있는 특수교사 12명에게 심층 면담을 실시하였으며 그 결과 4개의 대주제, 10개의 소주제, 36개의 유의미 단위가 도출되었다. 연구 결과로 도출된 역할은 1) 업무 총괄자, 2) 성장 촉진자, 3) 협력적 조정자, 4) 조직관계 관리자로 확인되었다. 연구 결과를 기반으로 특수교육지원센터 팀장 역할에 대한 인식을 알아보면 팀장은 단순한 행정 실무자가 아닌, 공식적, 비공식적 기능을 동시에 수행하는 다층적 리더로서 인식되고 있었다. 따라서 이러한 인식 구조를 반영하여 팀장의 역할이 재정립되고 정책적으로 뒷받침될 수 있도록 실천적 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to explore and conceptualize the perceived roles of team leaders in special education support centers, thereby providing foundational data for the institutional clarification and policy development of team leader roles in such centers. In-depth individual interviews were conducted with 12 special education teachers from Gyeonggi Province who had either served as team leaders or worked alongside them. Through qualitative content analysis, this study identified four overarching categories, 10 subcategories, and 36 meaningful units. The roles perceived were categorized as: 1) coordinator of core responsibilities; 2) facilitator of professional growth; 3) collaborative mediator; and (4) organizational relationship manager. The findings indicate that team leaders are not merely administrative practitioners but are recognized as multidimensional leaders who simultaneously perform formal and informal functions. Based on this multilayered perception, the study proposes practical recommendations for redefining and institutionalizing the role of team leaders in special education support centers.
