국문 초록

본 연구는 스테이블 코인 기반 디지털 결제 시스템이 한국 중소기업의 무역 경쟁력에 미치는 영향을 이비즈니스 커머스 전략과 고객관계관리(CRM) 이론을 중심으로 분석하였다. 최근 한국 전체 무역 거래의 약 10%가 스테이블 코인을 통해 처리되고 있으며, 이는 수수료 절감, 송금 시간 단축, 환위험 완화 등 실질적인 효과를 제공하고 있다. 남대문시장, 부산 수산물 수출업체, 제주 농산물 협동조합 등의 사례를 통해 스테이블 코인 도입이 고객 신뢰 제고, 글로벌 시장 확장, 자금 흐름 개선에 긍정적으로 기여함을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 이론적 분석 틀로 CRM, 경쟁전략이론, 자원기반이론(RBV), 동적역량이론을 적용하여 실증성과 이론적 정합성을 확보하였다. 분석 결과, 스테이블 코인은 거래 비용과 시간을 획기적으로 절감하고, 중소기업의 고객 신뢰 및 시장 반응 속도를 향상시킴으로써 통상 경쟁력 강화를 가능하게 한다. 향후 이러한 성과의 지속을 위해 제도적 정비와 정책적 지원이 필요함을 제안한다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study examines the impact of stablecoin-based digital payments on the trade competitiveness of Korean SMEs, focusing on cost reduction, processing speed, and exchange rate risk mitigation, using frameworks from e-business commerce and CRM. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: A qualitative case study approach is applied, drawing on secondary sources such as government statistics and industry reports. Cases include Namdaemun apparel exporters, Busan seafood firms, and Jeju agricultural cooperatives, interpreted through CRM, Porter’s Five Forces, RBV, and dynamic capabilities. Results: Approximately 10% of Korea’s trade now involves stablecoins, with SMEs reporting 70-90% lower transaction fees, faster settlements, and broader trade networks. However, regulatory uncertainty, lack of corporate wallet support, and capital volatility remain concerns. Conclusions: Stablecoins strengthen SME trade competitiveness through cost savings and digital transparency. Continued benefits require institutional and legal reinforcement to address current policy gaps and support safe adoption.
