This study examines the necessity and direction of digital education innovation in training prospective Japanese language teachers in the era of digital transformation. Using the “Japanese Language Education Utilizing Multimedia” course offered in the first semester of 2025 as a case study, the research analyzed changes in the experiences and perceptions of eight participants regarding digital tool usage. Designed as a problem-based learning (PBL) program, the course involved textbook analysis, lessons with selected digital media, and instructional video production. Findings revealed that participants recognized multimedia as effective in enhancing learner engagement and language proficiency, and viewed AI tools as essential for improving instructional quality. Some participants showed lower self-efficacy due to limited technical experience. These results highlight the need for systematic training that integrates digital literacy with instructional design competence, supported by repeated practice and technical assistance.
영문 초록
本研究は、デジタル大転換時代における日本語教員志望者の養成課程において、デジタル教育イノベーションの必要性と方向性を探ることを目的とする。2025年度前期に開講された「マルチメディアを活用した日本語教育」授業を事例として、受講者8名のデジタルツール使用経験と認識の変化を分析した。本授業は問題解決型学習(PBL)として設計され、高校日本語教科書の分析、デジタル教育メディアを用いた授業実演、中高生向け教育用動画制作を主要活動とした。調査結果、受講者はマルチメディア教材が学習者の関心喚起や言語能力向上に有効であり、AIツール活用が授業の質向上に不可欠であると評価した。一部の受講者は技術経験不足により自己効力感が低かった。これらの結果から、教員養成課程ではデジタル·リテラシーと教授設計能力を統合した体系的教育と、繰り返しの実習や技術支援による自己効力感向上が必要であることが示唆された。
