국문 초록

AI 시대 외국어 교사의 역할과 위상의 변화, 여성주의 교육학 연구 패러다임의 감정 전환, 외국어 교사의 교직 이탈 현상 등으로 인해 외국어 교사의 감정노동에 대한 연구는 더 이상 주변화되지 않으며, 외국어 교사 관련 연구의 핵심 주제로 부상하고 있다. 한국어교육학에서는 아직까지 한국어 교사를 대상으로 한 감정노동 연구가 활발히 이루어지지 않고 있으나, 유사한 문화권의 이웃 국가인 중국에서 진행된 외국어 교사 감정노동 관련 연구를 고찰함으로써 향후 한국어 교사 감정노동 연구에 유의미한 시사점을 제공하고자 한다. 이에 본 연구는 중국에서 발표된 외국어 교사 감정노동 관련 연구 40편을 선정하여, 체계적 문헌 고찰 방법을 활용해 메타정보별 경향과 내용별 경향을 분석하였다. 메타정보별 경향은 발행 연도, 문헌 유형, 발행 기관에 따라 세분화하였으며, 내용별 경향은 연구 질문에 따른 연구 방법의 활용, 연구 주제에 따른 연구 대상의 분포, 연구의 이론 활용 양상을 중심으로 검토하였다. 이와 같은 체계적 문헌 고찰 결과를 바탕으로 향후 한국어 교사 감정노동 연구를 위한 시사점을 다음과 같이 제시할 수 있다. 첫째, 연구 질문의 지향성과 심층화, 둘째, 연구 대상의 다양성과 세분화, 셋째, 연구 방법의 융합성과 규범화, 넷째, 연구 결과의 대화성과 이론화 등 네 가지 측면에서 발전할 수 있다. 본 연구는 중국의 연구 경험을 거울삼아 한국어 교사 감정노동 연구의 방향성과 발전 가능성을 논의하였다는 점에서 학술사적 의의가 크다.

영문 초록

With the rise of artificial intelligence, the evolving roles and status of foreign language teachers, the affective turn in feminist pedagogy, and increasing teacher attrition, research on emotional labor in foreign language education is no longer marginalized. Rather, it is emerging as a central topic within the field. Although studies on the emotional labor of Korean language teachers remain limited, this study seeks to offer meaningful implications for future research by examining existing studies conducted in China, a neighboring country with a culturally similar context. To this end, the present study selected 40 research articles published in China that focus on the emotional labor of foreign language teachers. Using a systematic review methodology, the study analyzed trends based on both meta-information and thematic content. Meta-level trends were categorized by publication year, document type, and publishing institution. Content-level trends were examined in terms of the alignment between research questions and methodologies, the distribution of research subjects according to thematic focus, and the use of theoretical frameworks. Based on these findings, the study offers four key implications for the development of emotional labor research in Korean language education: (1) increased orientation toward and deepening of research questions, (2) diversification and refinement of research subjects, (3) integration and standardization of research methods, and (4) dialogic and theoretical development of research outcomes. By drawing upon the research experiences of China, this study provides valuable insights into the future directions and developmental potential of emotional labor research on Korean language teachers, contributing significantly to the academic discourse in this area.
