대학 교육에서 교수자의 AI 교육활용 인식 및 역량 요구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 대학 교육에서 교수자의 AI 교육활용 인식 및 역량 요구도 분석을 통해 효과적인 AI 교육활용을 위한 시사점을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 A대학 교수를 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 통해 AI 교육활용에 대한 인식조사와 요구조사를 실시하고 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 독립표본 t검정, 일원분산분석, The Locus for Focus Model 분석을 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과는 첫째, AI 교육활용에 대한 인식은 공교육 현장에서 AI 교육활용 확산에 따른 대학의 AI활용교육필요도, AI 교육활용에 대한 학생 학습성과 측면 필요도, AI 교육활용의 학생 진로계발 측면 필요도, AI 활용 기술의 적용 확산에 대한 인식 등 모든 항목에서 높게 나타났다. 둘째, AI 도구 활용 경험은 향후 AI 교육활용의 실행 의향이 가장 높게 나타났고, AI 도구 활용 시 기술적 문제 해결 지원이 가장 낮게 나타났다. 셋째, AI 교육활용을 위한 교수자 역량 요구도는 역량의 모든 항목에서 미래 필요도가 현재 실행도에 비해 높게 나타났으며, AI 교육활용 교수자 역량에 대한 요구 우선순위는 AI 윤리실천 역량, AI 수업설계 역량 순으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 고등교육 분야에서 효과적인 AI 교육활용을 위한 현장중심의 실천적 방안에 대한 시사점을 제공한 점에서 의의가 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 대학 교육 현장에서 효과적인 AI 교육활용을 위한 교수학습 지원의 구체적인 전략 수립을 위한 근거 자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to propose implications for the effective utilization of AI education by analyzing university instructors’ perceptions and competency needs related to AI education. To this end, an online survey was conducted targeting professors at University A, focusing on their perceptions and needs regarding the use of AI in education. The collected data were analyzed using independent samples t-tests, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and the Locus for Focus model. First, perceptions regarding the use of AI education in the public education sector were high across all items, including the need for AI-based education to help students prepare for university admission, improve learning outcomes, support career development, and promote the spread of AI-based technologies. Second, those with prior experience using AI tools showed the highest willingness to implement AI-based education in the future. However, support for resolving technical issues when using AI tools was found to be the lowest. Third, in terms of instructors' competency needs for utilizing AI education, the perceived future need exceeded the current performance across all competency areas. Among them, AI ethics practice competency and AI instructional design competency were identified as top-priority areas. This study is significant in that it provides field-oriented, practical implications for the effective implementation of AI education in the university setting. The findings are expected to serve as a foundation for developing specific strategies to support teaching and learning using AI in higher education.
