국문 초록

본 연구는 네트워크 분석을 활용하여 국내 패션 관련 학회 홈페이지에 게시된 학회장 인사말을 비교 분석하고, 이를 통해 각 학회 간 설립 목적 및 운영 방향의 유사점과 차이점을 규명하는 데 목적이 있다. 학회의 대표인 학회장의 인사말은 해당 학회의 정체성, 비전, 그리고 운영 전략을 대외적으로 표명하는 중요한 요소이다. 패션 관련 학회장 인사말을 빈도 분석 및 네트워크 분석을 통해 학회 운영의 특징을 심층적으로 살펴보고, 도출된 특징들을 바탕으로 각 학회의 설립 목표와 운영 방법에 따른 관계성을 비교 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 영어영문학 관련 학회장 인사말을 연결망 분석한 선행연구와 유사하게 학회 명칭이나 회원을 지칭하는 단어가 높은 빈도를 보였으며, 감사의 인사와 발전 당부 내용 등 보편적인 구성 요소도 확인되었다. 그러나 각 패션 학회는 설립 목적과 정체성에 따라 인사말의 내용이 명확히 차별화되는 특징을 보였다. 예를 들어, 한국복식학회장은 문화유산으로서의 전통을 강조했지만, 한국패션비즈니스 학회 회장은 패션 첨단 기술을 통한 산업 발전을 강조하는 등, 각 학문 분야의 특성과 지향점을 구체적으로 반영하고 있음을 확인하였다. 이처럼 본 연구는 패션 학회들의 고유한 특성과 차별화된 지향점을 실증적으로 제시함으로써, 국내 패션 학술 생태계를 이해하고 효율적인 학회 운영 및 협력 방안 모색을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to comparatively analyze the presidential greetings posted on the websites of Korean fashion-related academic societies, utilizing network analysis, to identify similarities and differences in their founding purposes and operational directions. As key representatives, academic society presidents' greetings are crucial elements that articulate the society's identity, vision, and strategic operational approaches to the public. The research employed frequency and network analysis on these greetings to deeply examine the characteristics of each society's operation. Based on the derived features, it comparatively analyzed the relationships between their respective founding objectives and operational methodologies. The analysis revealed commonalities with prior research that analyzed presidential greetings of English literary societies using network analysis, showing high frequencies of terms referring to the society's name or members. Universal components such as expressions of gratitude and encouragement for future development were also observed. However, a distinct differentiation emerged: each fashion academic society's greeting content was uniquely shaped by its founding purpose and identity. For example, while the president of the Korean Costume Culture Association emphasized tradition as cultural heritage, the president of the Korea Fashion Business Association highlighted industrial development through advanced fashion technology, confirming that the greetings specifically reflect the characteristics and orientations of each academic field. By empirically presenting the unique characteristics and differentiated orientations of fashion academic societies, this study is expected to contribute to understanding the domestic fashion academic ecosystem and providing fundamental data for fostering efficient society operations and collaborative strategies.
