국문 초록

This study investigates how job stress and coping strategies influence the psychological empowerment of marriage-migrant interpretation and translation support workers in multicultural family service centers in Korea. An online survey was administered to 115 workers, among which 107 valid responses were analyzed. The analytic framework comprises descriptive statistics, reliability assessment, exploratory factor analysis, Pearson correlations, and multiple regression supplemented by PROCESS Macro Model 1. Key findings indicate that job stress exerts no significant direct effect on empowerment (β = 0.003, p = .961), whereas problem-focused coping positively predicts empowerment (β = 0.240, p = .002). Emotion-focused and avoidance coping strategies showed no significant effects. Demographic factors did not moderate the relationship between problem-focused coping and empowerment.
