국문 초록

본 연구는 정신의료기관 간호사를 대상으로 환자안전관리 활동의 중요도와 수행도의 차이를 확인하고, 환자안전관리 활동 강화를 위한 우선순위를 파악하고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 경기권과 전북권에 위치한 정신전문병원과 상급종합병원의 정신과 병동에서 근무 중인 간호사로, 정신과 병원 또는 병동에 근무한 경력이 1년 이상인 자, 본 연구의 목적을 이해하고, 의사소통에 장애가 없으며, 본 연구에 참여하기를 서면 동의한 간호사이다. 자료 수집은 2025년 3월 15일부터 3월 31일까지 구조화된 자기 보고형 설문지를 사용하여 진행되었으며, 최종 180명의 자료가 분석되었다. 분석은 SPSS/WIN 26.0을 이용하여 빈도, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, 대응표본 t검정, IPA 분석, Borich의 교육요구도 분석, The Locus for Focus Model 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 정신의료기관 간호사의 환자안전관리 활동에서 최우선 항목은‘감염관리 업무규정 준수’,‘화재 예방관련 산소지침 준수’,‘위기관리 정보제공’으로 나타났다. 이 연구 결과를 바탕으로 우선순위에 해당하는 항목을 참고하여 정신의료기관 간호사를 위한 맞춤형 환자안전관리 활동 교육 프로그램을 개발하고 적용한다면 좀 더 효율적 접근이 가능할 것으로 생각한다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to identify differences in the importance and performance of patient safety management activities among nurses in psychiatric institutions and to identify priorities for strengthening patient safety management activities. The study population was nurses working in psychiatric wards of psychiatric specialty hospitals and upper-level general hospitals located in Gyeonggi and Jeolla provinces, who had at least one year of experience working in a psychiatric hospital or ward, understood the purpose of the study, had no communication disability, and gave written consent to participate in the study. Data collection was conducted between March 15 and March 31, 2025, using a structured self-report questionnaire, and data from 180 nurses were analyzed. Analyses were conducted using SPSS/WIN 26.0 to analyze frequencies, percentages, means, standard deviations, paired sample t-tests, IPA analysis, Borich's Educational Needs Chart analysis, and The Locus for Focus Model. The results of the study showed that the top priorities for patient safety management activities of nurses in psychiatric organizations were ‘complying with infection control practices’, ‘complying with oxygen guidelines for fire prevention’, and ‘providing crisis management information’. Based on the results of this study, it would be more efficient to develop and apply a customized patient safety management training program for nurses in psychiatric institutions based on the prioritized items.
