대학의 학사 혁신 현황과 개선 방향 탐색: 수도권 대학 학사 업무 담당 직원을 대상으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 학사 혁신 현황과 개선 방향을 탐색함으로써 향후 대학의 자율적 학사 혁신을 위한 정책에 실질적인 도움을 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 64개 대학의 새로운 학사 제도 도입 실태를 조사 분석 하였으며, 조사를 통해 학사 혁신의 노력과 실질적인 변화 정도가 높은 수도권 대학을 선정하였으며, 이러한 대학들을 중심으로 FGI 참여자를 섭외하였다. 본 연구를 위해 참여에 동의한 5개 대학의 학사 업무 담당 직원을 대상으로 인터뷰 연구를 실시하였다. 인터뷰 결과는 DCA(Directed Content Analysis) 절차에 따라 분석하였으며, 학사제도와 교육과정 운영 혁신을 위한 수업 관리, 학생 서비스, 교수 지원, 행정업무, 기술지원, 교육성과관리 등 여섯 가지 측면에 서의 학사 혁신 현황과 개선 방향을 확인하였다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 향후 연구와 정책 제안을 결론에 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to explore the success factors and future tasks necessary for academic innovation in universities by analyzing the experiences and perspectives of academic affairs staff at universities in the Seoul metropolitan area. To address these research questions, academic innovation practices at 64 universities were examined through a survey. Based on the results, several universities in the Seoul metropolitan area demonstrating high levels of innovation and practical change were selected. Among them, five universities that agreed to participate in a focus group interview (FGI) were chosen for further qualitative investigation. The survey targeted heads of academic affairs or curriculum administrators at national four-year universities. It was conducted online between August 27 and September 23, 2024, following the distribution of official requests. The final FGI participants included three small- to mid-sized private universities in the metropolitan area, one large-scale public university, and one large-scale private university. The FGI session took place on October 10, 2024, lasting for 2 hours and 30 minutes, and was attended by two researchers and five institutional representatives. The interview results were analyzed using Directed Content Analysis (DCA), focusing on changes across six areas relevant to innovation in bachelor's degree systems and curriculum operations: course management, student services, faculty support, administrative processes, technological infrastructure, and educational performance management. It also investigated key success experiences and improvement strategies. The study concludes with suggestions for future research and policy directions.
