국문 초록

본 연구는 보육교사를 대상으로 지속가능발전교육에 기반한 유아 자원재활용교육 프로그램 개발을 위해 인식 및 실태를 조사하고, 프로그램 평가의 적절성을 검토하여 지원 및 개발 방안을 모색하고자 하는 기초 연구이다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지속가능발전교육에 대한 인식은 78.3%로 높은 편이며, 국공립어린이집 보육교사가 민간어린이집 보육교사보다 인지도가 높았다. TV 등의 대중매체를 통해 가장 많이 인식되었으며, 지속가능발전교육의 필요성은 87.3%로 나타났다. 둘째, 지속가능발전교육 비활성화의 주요 이유는 인식과 우선순위 부족으로 59.4%를 차지하였으며, 지속가능발전교육 내용에 대한 인식 정도는 평균 3.51점(SD=0.61)이었다. 셋째, 본 연구는 지역적 한계로 연구 결과의 일반화에 어려움이 있지만, 후속 연구에서는 연구 대상과 지역을 고려해야 함을 제언하였다. 본 연구는 자원재활용 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하며, 지속가능발전교육의 필요성에 대한 인식이 프로그램의 적절성 평가에 미치는 영향을 살펴볼 필요가 있음을 강조하였다.

영문 초록

This study is a basic study to investigate the awareness and actual conditions of childcare teachers for the development of a resource recycling education program based on early childhood sustainable development education, and the appropriateness of the program evaluation, and to seek ways to support and develop the program. The main research results are as follows. First, the awareness of sustainable development education was high at 78.3%, and childcare teachers at public and private daycare centers had higher awareness than childcare teachers at private daycare centers. It was most widely recognized through mass media such as TV, and the need for sustainable development education was 87.3%. Second, the biggest reason for the inactivity of sustainable development education was lack of awareness and priority at 59.4%, and the average level of awareness of the core contents of sustainable development education was 3.51 points (SD=0.61). Third, this study has difficulties in generalizing the research results due to regional limitations, but it was suggested that follow-up studies should consider the research subjects and regions. This study provides basic data for the development of resource recycling programs and emphasizes the need to examine the influence of awareness of the need for sustainable development education on the evaluation of program adequacy.
