국문 초록

본 연구는 포터의 다이아몬드 모형을 바탕으로 한국 디지털 무역의 국제 경쟁력을 실증 분석하고, 그 주요 영향 요인을 규명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 2010년부터 2022년까지의 시계열 데이터를 활용하였으며, 디지털 무역 수출액을 종속 변수로 설정하고, 다이아몬드 모형의 네 가지 기본 요소와 두 가지 보조 요소를 반영한 총 12개의 설명 변수를 독립 변수로 구성하였다. 연구도구로는 다중회귀분석을 활용하였으며, 통계분석에는 STATA 17 프로그램을 사용하였다. 회귀 분석 결과, 외국인 직접투자(FDI)가 한국 디지털 무역 경쟁력에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났으며, 디지털 무역 산업의 개방도 역시 강한 긍정적 영향을 보였다. ICT 산업의 GDP 기여도는 중간 수준의 긍정적 효과를 나타냈으며, 이동 광대역 가입률은 예기치 않게 부정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 이를 바탕으로, 본 연구는 FDI 유치 확대, 디지털 무역 개방 강화, ICT 산업 투자 확대, 이동통신 인프라의 전략적 활용 등을 정책적 시사점으로 제안한다.

영문 초록

This study examines Korea’s digital trade competitiveness using Porter’s Diamond Model. Based on time-series data from 2010 to 2022, digital trade exports were set as the dependent variable, while 12 explanatory variables were derived from the model’s four fundamental and two supplementary factors. A regression analysis was conducted to assess the impact of these variables. As the research tool, multiple regression analysis was employed to identify the statistical relationships among the variables, and the analysis was conducted using STATA 17 software. The results show that FDI is the most influential factor in enhancing Korea’s digital trade competitiveness. The openness of the digital trade industry also exhibits a strong positive impact. ICT’s GDP contribution had a moderate positive effect, while mobile broadband subscriptions showed a negative impact. Based on these findings, the study proposes policy implications such as expanding FDI, strengthening openness, investing in ICT, and improving broadband infrastructure. These findings offer insights for digital trade policy and strategy.
