국문 초록

본 연구는 한국인의 정서 표현 방식, 관계 지향성, 신속한 해결 요구 등 심리문화적 특수성을 반영하여, 체험적 상담모형인 ‘아름살이상담심리(Areumsari Counseling Psychology)’를 제안한다. 본 모델은 인간중심상담과 포커싱, 토착심리학의 통합을 기반으로 하며, ‘머무르기-탐색하기-공명하기-표현하기’의 네 단계로 구성된다. 연구는 이론적 모델링과 질적 사례분석을 통해 상담현장에서의 적용 가능성과 개념적 타당성을 탐색하였다. 연구 결과, 아름살이상담심리 모형은 한국 내담자의 정서 흐름에 유기적으로 부합하고 자기이해를 촉진하는 데 실천적 가능성을 지닌다. 본 연구는 한국적 상담심리학의 이론 정립에 기여하며, 향후 실증적 검증과 상담자 훈련 연구의 필요성을 제시한다.

영문 초록

This study proposes Areumsari Counseling Psychology, a four-phase experiential counseling model developed in response to the unique psychological and cultural characteristics of Korean clients—such as their emotional expression patterns, relational orientation, and desire for rapid resolution. The model integrates person-centered therapy, focusing-oriented therapy, and indigenous Korean psychology, and is structured around four phases: Pausing, Sensing, Exploring, and Articulating. Employing a conceptual theory-building approach and qualitative case analysis, the study presents illustrative sessions to explore the model’s practical applicability and conceptual validity. The Areumsari model aligns with the emotional rhythm of Korean clients and promotes self-understanding, offering both theoretical and clinical contributions to the development of indigenous counseling psychology in Korea.
