고교학점제 운영을 위한 단위학교 자율 점검 요소 탐색 연구

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 논문은 단위학교의 고교학점제 운영을 위해 자율적으로 점검할 수 있는 도구를 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 고교학점제 단계적 도입 시기를 지나 2025년 전면 도입 시점에서, 고교학점제가 추구하고자 하는 정책 목적이 학교 현장에서 구현되고 있는지에 대한 모니터링이 외부가 아닌 단위학교라는 교육 주체에 의한 점검이 필요하다고 판단하였다. 연구방법: 전문가 집단 및 현장 교사 집단 중심으로 워킹그룹을 형성하여 영역별 집중 논의 및 검토, 보완 작업을 통해 단위학교 자율 점검 요소를 도출하고 요소별 질문을 구성하였다. 연구결과: 고교학점제 운영을 위한 단위학교의 자율 점검 요소는 크게 운영 체제 및 문화, 교육과정 편성·운영, 진로·학업 설계 지도, 교수·학습 및 평가, 공간 조성과 활용 측면에서 영역이 구성되었고 각 영역은 세부 내용 및 요소로 제시되었다. 영역별 세부 준비 내용 요소를 도출하고 이를 진단 또는 평가하기 쉽게 여부를 확인하거나 척도에 의해 표시할 수 있도록 하였다. 고교학점제 운영은 교육과정, 교수학습, 평가 전반에 걸친 정책의 변화를 예고하지만 상대적으로 운영 체제 및 문화 조성, 교육과정 편성·운영 측면에서의 점검할 요소가 다소 많았다. 결론: 자율 점검 요소는 단위학교가 고교학점제 운영을 할 때 어떤 영역에서 무엇을 해야 하는지 방향을 잡을 수 있도록 참고할 수 있는 기준점 역할을 함과 동시에 스스로의 운영 현황에 대해 평가할 때 활용될 수 있다. 이러한 평가 결과를 바탕으로 학교의 교육과정 및 고교학점제 운영을 개선할 수 있고 교원의 역량 강화에도 활용할 수 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study aimed to develop a tool that individual schools can use to autonomously assess their readiness and operations for the implementation of the high school credit system. There is a need for monitoring whether the policy goals are being realized at the school level not through external evaluation, but through self-assessment by individual schools. Methods: A working group composed of experts and practicing teachers was formed to conduct focused discussions, reviews, and revisions by domain. Through this process, autonomous self-assessment elements for schools were identified, and questions were developed for each element. Results: The autonomous self-assessment elements were categorized into five major domains: operational system and culture, curriculum planning and operation, career and academic guidance, teaching, learning and assessment, and spatial design and utilization. These elements were structured in a way that allows schools to assess or evaluate them by verifying their presence or rating them using scales. Conclusion: The self-assessment elements serve as reference points to help individual schools determine what actions need to be taken. They can also be used by schools to evaluate their current operations.
