국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 지역 공공병원의 역할 인식과 기능적 성과를 파악하는 것이었다. 지역 공공병원의 직원을 연구대상으로 선정하여 2020년 9월 23일부터 10월 22일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 본 연구에서는 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 1. 역할 인식과 기능적 성과가 가장 높은 공공의료원 직원은 51세 이상, 근무경력 16년, 직급 6급 이상으로 나타났다. 2. 인식과 기능적 성과에서 가장 높은 것은 음압격리실 운영, 종합요양서비스 병동 관리, 호스피스 완화의료 서비스 제공, 학생 실습 및 연수로 나타났다. 3. 인식과 기능적 성과에서 가장 낮은 것은 미충족 건강관리 요구, 지역사회 보건의료인 교육, 정신건강 교육, 모자 의료서비스 확대 등으로 나타났다. 4. 지역 공공병원의 가장 시급한 역할은 인력 확충, 필수의료, 예산 지원 등으로 나타났다. 5. 지역 공공병원의 인식과 기능적 성과 사업에서 전체 사업 간 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다(p<0.001). 지역주민 대상 진료사업과 공공보건의료서비스가 가장 높은 상관을 보였다. 6. 지역 공공병원 사업에 대한 일반적 특성과 인식의 정준 상관분석에서 정준함수는 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다(p<0.001). 7. 지역 공공병원 사업에 대한 일반적 특성과 기능적 성과의 정준 상관분석에서 정준함수는 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다(p<0.001). 이상의 연구결과를 통해 지역 공공병원의 기능 강화와 구성원의 역할 활성화를 통해 공공의료 기능을 긍정적으로 수행할 수 있는 시스템을 구축할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to understand the role perception and the functional performance in a regional public hospital. The employees of a regional public hospital were selected as research subjects and data was collected from September 23 to October 22, 2020. In this research, the following conclusions were elicited. 1. The public medical center employees with the highest role perception and functional performance appeared to be over 51 years old, had 16 years of work experience, and was Grade 6 or higher in their ranks. 2. The highest in the awareness and the functional performance was shown to include the operation of negative pressure isolation room, the management of comprehensive nursing care service wards, the offer of hospice palliative care service, and the student practice and training. 3. The lowest in the awareness and the functional performance included the unmet health-care needs, education for community health practitioners, mental health education, and expanding medical services for mothers and children. 4. The most urgent role of the regional public hospital included expanding manpower, essential medical care, and a budget support. 5. In the awareness and functional performance project in a regional public hospital, there were statistically significant differences among all projects(p<0.001). 6. In the canonical correlation analysis between the general characteristics and the perception on a regional public hospital project, the canonical function was indicated to be statistically significant(p<0.001). 7. In the canonical correlation analysis between the general characteristics and the functional performance in a regional public hospital project, the canonical function appeared to be statistically significant(p<0.001). From the above findings, there is a need to establish a system to positively carry out the public care function through intensifying the function of a regional public hospital and vitalizing the role of its members.
