음악리듬과 미술의 융합

국문 초록

리듬은 다양한 분야에서 사용되고 있다. 리듬은 규칙과 불규칙이 존재하고 일정한 반복이 있다. 주요 3요소 중 리듬에 중점을 두고 규칙과 불규칙을 통해 음악의 표현을 미술작품과 융합하였다. 미술에서는 음악의 리듬요소를 시각화한 작품들을 제시해보고 더 나아가 공통요소가 되는 음악의 악보를 통하며 비교해보고 융합예술의 효과에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 음악리듬이 미술작품에 주제로 표현된 것을 토대로 분석한 후, 음악의 요소와 미술을 융합하여 새롭고 다양한 융합 작품들이 창작되고 그 중 음악과 미술융합 학문을 접근하여 이해할 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 연구의 방법은 파울 클레(Paul Klee), 로버트 들로네(Robert Delaunay), 소니아 들로네(Sonia Delaunay)의 음악리듬요소를 시각화한 작품과 음악곡의 리듬을 중심으로 분석하고자 한다. 미술 작품은 파울 클레(Paul klee, 1979~1940)의 “전원시:리듬”와 “리듬 속으로”, 로버트 들로네(Robert Delaunay,1885~1941)의 “무한의 리듬”을 다룰 예정이며, 음악곡으로는 베토벤(Ludwig van Beethoven,1770 ~ 1827)의 “전원교향곡(‘Pastoral’ Symphony No.6 in F major, Op.68)”과 스트라빈스키(Igor Stravinsky,1882 ~ 1971)의 “봄의 제전(Le Sacre du printemps)”곡의 리듬을 중심으로 분석하고자 한다. 이러한 음악리듬요소를 시각화한 미술 작품과 음악곡의 리듬형을 분석한 후 이러한 리듬들이 미술 작품에 어떠한 영향을 주고 받고 있는지 제시하였다. 연구의 결론은 리듬들이 미술 작품에 어떠한 영향을 주고 받았는지 또한 리듬형이 주는 규칙과 불규칙의 특징 등을 확인할 수 있었다. 리듬의 반복이 표현되려면 동일한 리듬을 반복하다 규칙성이 파괴되면 불규칙으로 인식된다. 음악곡의 리듬을 분석한 결과 동일한 리듬의 최소 10번이상 반복해서 규칙성을 주고 있다. 또한 동일한 리듬형이 다른 악기들과 주고받으며 규칙을 유지한다. 불규칙을 표현하기 위해서는 지속음과 쉼표의 대비 또는 지속음과 스타카토의 대비로 표현하기도 하고, 연속되는 음(音)속에서, 갑자기 쉼표의 등장으로 규칙성이 깨지기도 하였다. 또한 동일한 리듬이 등장하다가 악센트의 변화를 주어 리듬의 규칙성이 파괴되고 리듬의 분할로 규칙과 불규칙을 표현했다. 미술작품과 음악곡의 융합으로는 전원, 자연이라는 회화적 요소를 서로 주고 받으며 영감을 얻고 주제요소로 활용하여 표현한 특징을 볼 수 있었다. ‘리듬’이라는 공통된 요소를 규칙과 불규칙을 통해 미술작품과 음악곡을 토대로 융합학문의 결합이 된 것이다. 더 나아가 음악선율과 미술, 음악화성과 미술, 음악리듬과 과학, 음악리듬과 춤음악 등 음악과의 다양한 학문과의 연계 및 융합을 통해 예술분야의 창의성과 참신성 그리고 생활 속의 리듬이 사용되고 있는 특징을 음악분야와 연관하여 분석하며 향후 융합학문의 발전이 이루어지기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

Rhythm is used in various fields. Rhythm has rules and irregularities, and there are certain repetitions. Among the three main elements, the focus is on rhythm, and the expression of music is fused with works of art through rules and irregularities. In art, I would like to present works that visualize the rhythmic element of music, and further compare it through the score of music, which becomes a common element, and to find out the effect of convergence art. The purpose of this study is to analyze the musical rhythm based on the expression of the theme in art works, and then fuse the elements of music and art to create new and diverse fusion works and to approach and understand music and art convergence studies among them. The conclusion of the study was able to confirm how the rhythms affected the works of art and the characteristics of the rules and irregularities given by the rhythmic type. If the regularity is destroyed while repeating the same rhythm in order to express the repetition of the rhythm, it is perceived as irregular. As a result of analyzing the rhythm of music songs, regularity is given by repeating the same rhythm at least 10 times. In addition, the same rhythmic type exchanges with other instruments and maintains the rules. In order to express irregularity, it is sometimes expressed as the contrast between the continuous sound and the comma or the contrast between the continuous sound and the staccato, and in a continuous sound, regularity was broken by the sudden appearance of a comma. The fusion of works of art and music was able to see the characteristics of giving and receiving inspiration by exchanging painting elements of power and nature and expressing them as subject elements. The common element of ‘rhythm’ was combined with convergence studies based on works of art and music through rules and irregularities. Furthermore, through connection and convergence with various disciplines such as music melody, art, music harmony and art, music rhythm and science, music rhythm and dance music, the characteristics of creativity, novelty, and rhythm in life are analyzed in connection with the music field, and the development of convergence studies is expected in the future.
