국문 초록
This study examined the impact of perceived authenticity on interaction between local residents and tourists, and on tourist attachment to a marine tourist attraction in Busan, South Korea. A sample of 250 visitors was used for the study. The results revealed that both existential and objective uniqueness significantly enhanced interaction between local residents and tourists, as well as tourist attachment. Furthermore, it was found that local resident-tourist interaction partially mediated the relationship between uniqueness perception and tourist attachment. This suggests that tourists form emotional attachments to tourist destinations by experiencing the region's culture and history and having positive interactions with local residents. Therefore, this study concludes that improving communication between local residents and tourists, fostering a culture of hospitality and training tourism service providers are key strategies for enhancing tourism competitiveness.
