생성형 AI 경험에 따른 인식이 사이버 보안 경각심에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

이 연구는 개인의 특성과 AI 경험이 사이버 보안 경각심에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 실증적으로 검증하였다. 이러한 인식은 휴리스틱 편향과 프레이밍을 통해 AI가 주는 사이버 보안에 대한 경각심 효과가 미진한 집단이 있는지 확인하여 혹시 모를 산 업기술 유출에 대해 보완적인 전략이 무엇인가 도출하기 위함에 있었다. 분석결과 사회에 대한 불신은 사이버 보안에 대한 경각 심을 낮추는 것으로 나타났으며, AI 경험 중 기능이 자신의 역량을 강화한다고 믿는 사람일수록 사이버 보안에 대한 경각심이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 개인의 특성을 고려하더라도 AI에 대한 기능을 제대로 체험하는 것이 사이버 보안의 경각심을 높이는데 효과적이라는 점을 확인한 것이라 할 수 있다. 또한 사이버 보안 경각심이 높은 집단과 낮은 집단이 유익한 정보를 얻 기 위해 활동하는 영역에 차이가 있는지 확인한 결과 경각심이 높은 집단은 상대적으로 사적인 영역이 아닌 공적 채널을 통해서 명확한 정보를 얻는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 사이버 보안 경각심을 높이기 위한 전략으로 사적 채널을 이용하는 집단에 대해 AI 기능과 사이버 보안에 대한 경각심 홍보 등 다양한 전략을 시도할 수 있도록 몇가지 제언을 첨언하였다.

영문 초록

This study empirically verified how individual characteristics and AI experience affect cybersecurity awareness. This perception was intended to identify groups where AI’s cybersecurity awareness effect is insufficient through heuristic bias and framing, and to derive complementary strategies for possible industrial technology leaks. The results showed that distrust of society was associated with lower cybersecurity awareness, while people who believed that AI experiences would empower them were more likely to be cybersecurity aware. This confirms that even when individual characteristics are taken into account, a functional experience with AI is effective in increasing cybersecurity awareness. We also checked whether there is a difference in the areas where high and low cybersecurity awareness groups are active to obtain useful information. It was found that high awareness groups obtain clear information through public channels rather than relatively private areas. Therefore, we made some suggestions for groups that use private channels as a strategy to increase cybersecurity awareness, such as promoting AI capabilities and cybersecurity awareness.
