SNS모방충동이 자해의도에 미치는 영향: 청소년 자해동기요인을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 양적연구를 통해 사전에 탐색된 질적연구에서 도출된 자해동기요인을 검증하고자 한다. 자극추구성향의 충동성과 중독성, 관심을 추구하는 관종적 성향, 부모의 관심에 대한 탐색변인을 토대로 SNS모방충동성이 자해의도에 미치는 영향을 검 증하고자 하였다. 자해의도를 억제하기 위한 변인으로 외모자존심과 부모관심변인을 설정해 매개 및 조절효과도 확인하였다. 탐 색결과, 충동성변인과 관종성향이 자해의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 부모관심으로 명명된 부모와의 애착관계는 자해 문제의 발생 요인이며 가족 등의 지지는 자해행동이나 행동의도, 태도에 강한 영향을 미칠 것으로 판단하였다. 본 연구의 실증 분석에서도 가족의 지지는 자해의도에 음(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서, 가족의 관심과 애착은 자해의도를 희석시키는 변인으로 예측되었지만, 충동성과 관종성향이 자해의도에 미치는 영향에 부모관심이 매개한 경우에서는 충동성과 관종성향 변인이 강하게 작용하거나 부모관심 변인이 상대적으로 약한 경우에는 ‘부모관심’ 변인이 자해의도에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못하는 새로운 결과가 돌출되었다. 그 외에도, SNS모방충동에 자해의도가 미치는 영향에 외모자존심은 매개변수역할을 하고 있으며, 부분 매개 형태를 보이고 있다. 본 양적연구의 결과가 지속적 자해행동을 설명하기 위한 메커니즘으로 활용될 것 을 기대해본다.

영문 초록

This study aims to verify the self-harm motivation factors derived from the qualitative research previously explored through quantitative research. Based on the exploratory variables of impulsivity and addiction of stimulation-seeking tendency, attention-seeking servile tendency, and parental concern, we attempted to verify the effect of SNS imitation impulsivity on self-harm intention. We also confirmed the mediating and moderating effects by setting the appearance self-esteem and parental concern variables as variables to suppress self-harm intention. The results of the exploration showed that impulsivity variables and servile tendency affected self-harm intention. The attachment relationship with parents, named parental concern, was judged to be a factor in the occurrence of self-harm problems, and support from family members was judged to have a strong influence on self-harm behavior, behavioral intention, and attitude. The empirical analysis of this study also confirmed that family support had a negative (-) effect on self-harm intention. Therefore, family interest and attachment were predicted to be variables that dilute self-harm intention, but in cases where parental interest mediated the effects of impulsivity and indulgence tendency on self-harm intention, a new result emerged that the ‘parental interest’ variable did not have a significant effect on self-harm intention when the impulsivity and indulgence tendency variables had a strong effect or the parental interest variable was relatively weak. In addition, appearance self-esteem played a mediating role in the effect of self-harm intention on SNS imitation impulse, showing a partial mediation form. It is expected that the results of this quantitative study will be utilized as a mechanism for explaining persistent self-harm behavior.
