Developing a conceptual framework of ethical leadership in research process for graduate students in Thailand

국문 초록
Purpose: Since many Chinese students would like to study advanced degrees abroad recent years, some of international private universities got refresh and stepped towards economic development; however, there was a reality that there are emerging problems in research ethics and research process, many Chinese students would be canceled academic degrees or canceled qualification of graduation; here are similar conflicts occurring at private universities in Thailand; thus, the researcher conducted the study to contribute in the research fields.
Method: The research was quantitative analysis; the researcher developed the proposed conceptual framework by integration on related academic articles; a total of 20 copies of academic article.\s were searched from famous scholar engines, such as google scholar, research gate and online library; then, the researcher found five Thai scholars to validate the proposed conceptual framework, these experts approved the proposed conceptual framework (scores≥0.60).
Results: the researcher found: (1) five types of unethical problems for Chinese graduate students: plagiarism, hiring writers, AI writers, fraud data, false publishing; (2) five dimensions of ethical leadership are suitable for processing a research to Chinese graduate students: trustworthy, transparency, commitment, reflection, consent inquiry and as well, here were reasons caused the unethical problems as the follow: unstable educational policy, lack of training for research ethics, unbalanced awareness of competition; (3) the research process including literature searching, synthesis of literature review, research design, data analysis & collection, academic writing with APA style; (5) the research conducted quantitative analysis to do evaluate the proposed conceptual framework, the conceptual framework was combinate from previous three objectives and provide suggestions to international programs at graduate schools, academic leaders at international programs, and research ethics advisory centers, etc.
Conclusion: the research found what and how to develop conceptual framework of enhancing ethical leadership in research process for Chinese postgraduate students at international university context in Thailand; it might contribute concepts of the development of ethical leadership and ethical paradigms for graduate schools in Thailand.
